  1. All, I am trying to find out the average weight loss for most people in their 1st 4-6 months. August 16th I will be 5 months out and to date I have lost 83lbs. My ultimate goal is 150lbs. I wondering how long I take or took most to reach that goal?

I think the weight you started play a factor in the numbers. If your BMI is high you tend to loss weight quicker. I have some friends that had the surgery the same day as me but were smaller than me at date of surgery and their weight loss is similar to yours. I think you are doing great.

No don't say that... You are doing fantastic. I started at a high weight and I believe that plays a factor in the numbers. Plus I'm somewhat obsessed with everything. I don't eat more than 800 calories a day and I make sure I burn 609-700 calories at every workout. You are doing great... I just think I'm a little obsessed with reaching my goal. I'm very very selected about what I eat. In most cases if not high in protein I don't bother eat (only exception is watermelon).
  4. Hi all, Has anyone associated the stomach rumbling to losing weight. I am almost 5 months out and for the past month - sleeve has started back rumbling and every since I've been losing almost a lb a day. All I know is when I was going through my stall - my stomach was not rumbling but now that my weight loss has picked back up - my stomach is having a field day. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same connection?

The rumbling of your stomach is normal... It's your secret friend that talks to you everywhere you go.

I would try increasing your calories 1 day and changing your workout slightly. Your body maybe use to your routine.

Not a thin skin but this challenge is part of our journey. It was started to motivate, encourage and support each other through this part of our journey. I thought this forum was meant to help each other in anyway possible through our journey. And in my opinion I think the challenge is doing just that. If you are pre-op the challenge show you where you can be at. If you look at the folks that are part of the challenge... You will see they are from all phases of the sleeve from the beginning and further. I think it is unfortunate you didn't get that. And my apologizes since I'm the starter of the challenge that I'm not allowing you to get what you want from this forum.

Good morning Challengers, I just wanted to come on and say "I am so excited my weight is coming off". I am now down to 213 and I am praying I reach my goal before October 1. (Funny how we become greedy when we see things moving better than expected...LOL.) It is crazy I went to my cousin's wedding on Saturday and I woke up to a 1.6lb loss. I guess it was the dancing and the high protein meal. Whatever it was... I am saying thank you JESUS! Today, I am working out and hope to put some miles on my belt this week. I hope everyone have a great day!

Increase your workout... Walk longer and a little faster, add a little running in it (run 1 minute walk 2 and continue to repeat), increase your protein and drink a little water. I went through my stall at 7 weeks too. It's okay it will pick back up.

Sorry I am late posting Challengers. It has been a busy day here at work.... thank you JESUS it is Friday! Okay, let's get to it! I worked out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and I am going today (4 days this week) - and a strong possibility I will workout Sunday; (2) I started a trainer this week. I worked out with him on Tuesday (I did bad but the goal is to get better) and I am working out with him again today. (Yay Fitness ). Also, I am really excited about seeing my shape come back in (I can see my collar bone, my waistline going in, my clothes are smaller and my shoes are smaller). Okay, not so positive - I only walked a recorded 4 miles this week. I did do the stairmaster but I did not know how to record the miles walked. I fixed that I downloaded an app to the my iphone. So, my walking numbers so far this week are low. I really just figured out away to calculate the miles walked when on the Stairmaster. I downloaded an app to my Iphone last night. But so far without including my stairmaster exercise and my time with the trainer - I have only walked 3 miles this week and I did that all last night. I am going to work on picking that up some tonight (some). Today is my day off from exercising but I plan to do a walk around my neighborhood (nothing major - just a leisure walk). It is still my goal to reach the 100 miles by October 1. I am also thinking I will probably reach my 200lbs mark before October 1.... out my mouth and into God's ears. Once I do my driver's license will then be accurate weight wise but I need to update that picture.

Plumlove, Welcome to the challenge. I am not doing the PIYO but you still can be apart of the challenge. Just measure the miles you walk while doing it. You got this and you are going to be successful at it. On your lazy days just shot an email and helpfully someone here can encourage you to get up and do it.
