  1. THANK YOU to everyone. This weekend I was at my sister-in-law's for dinner and her dining room wall is all mirrors and i looked at my profile and I thought- wow! You are smaller! That was a thrill too! Feeling on top of the world! Still have quite a ways to go but I am on the right road!!!!

  2. I am overjoyed this morning to report I weigh 199! It is a big day. Most people can say I haven't weighed that since...but honestly I don't know when I last weighed this as I avoided the scale. I am so excited to say I joined the onderland club! 25 years ago I was around 170 I believe. I have had a slow weight loss compared to some but it is going down and I am thrilled nonetheless. Yippee!

  3. To the doctor "What part of that statement is susposed to be kind and caring? I guess you skipped bedside manner class...so sorry you have no personality....have you thought of being a researcher? I hear those jobs don't require a bedside manner and you are so qualified for it."

Make sure you report this behavior. He needs sensitivity programing.

  4. I decided against it. My fear is it will make hair grow in places I have fought for so long...I verified many have seen Hair growth in unwanted places. My surgeon said it is not necessary. Hair loss is inevitable but short lived. I am losing hair which scares me but my hairdresser is not of the opinion I will need a wig before my body catches up. We will see. Good luck in your decision.

  5. I had surgery in March. After I had lost about 30 pounds I cleaned my closet out. Top to bottom. Nothing went back in that did not fit. Items that were too big (yes, there were lots!!!!) I donated. Items that were too small went into my dream box. Now I walk into my closet and I know everything fits. I have a friend who tells me if something I wear is too large and I trust her so if she tells me it is too large it doesn't go back in. Then every 2 weeks I open the dream box and move items into the closet if they fit. It is a dream come true every morning to pick an outfit. It all fits!!!!!!

Just earlier this week I noted the dream box was getting emptied and a friend came in the next day with clothes for me-most of which went into the dream box. I didn't tell a soul about my dream box or that it was getting empty!

I have been stalled for like one month and yet clothes are still moving-so even if it is not success on the scale it is success in inches. This so motivates me.

I also started an art journal with magazine pictures of outfits I like, bathing suits, thoughts on everything from what I am looking forward to or what I am experiencing and that is fun to create and to read. I record my NSVs too. That is motivating to me.
