I am 39yrs old. On July 24th it will be my 8yrs since my Roux-n-Y. At my highest I weighed 252lbs and I went down to 150lbs. The only problem I encountered was an ulcer within the second week after surgery. Other than that I never experienced dumping or any other side effect.
In the last 3yrs I've gained 72lbs bringing me to my current weight of 222lbs. No amount of exercise or smaller portions has helped me to stop the weight gain. I currently get iron infusions and B12 injections due to anemia.
I am researching revision surgeries and I'm hoping to get some info here.
My surgery was done in CA so I also need to research doctors here in NYC.
