Angie Starrett for now. I'll be 45 years old in July. I've been overweight my whole life. I'm five foot one and a quarter inch and have weighed as much as 286 pounds. I sign up for the Bariatric bypass. My doctor, Dr Patel said that since I have a sweet tooth the bypass was my best option.on my first way in I weighed officially 275 pounds. My insurance said I was approved but that I had to do a 3 month diet process.so I've been going to Jazzercise 3 times a week, eating smaller portions,I even got some of the bariatric advantage shakes for meal replacements before workout or if I'm hungry for something sweet I'll do a half shake instead of the desert. The first month I lost 9 pounds I believe this month I will lose another 9 pounds or so(waiting isn't it just a few days). if all goes well I'll have the surgery in the beginning to the later part of July.unfortunately, I'll be going through a divorce within the year, but I don't let it get me down. I'm doing this for me.I've always felt less than because of my way even when I exercise 5 days a week and did Weight Watchers, I only managed to get to 200 pounds. The second I slowed downmy exercise regime the weight kept piling back on.this is something I've always wanted to do and am looking forward to being fit. the thought of wearing clothes that don't have X in them or a single number such as size nine or lower has me thrilled. I know what will be lots of work but I am excited to take it on!
