Good morning from wintery Colorado. I am happy to report that I lost 4 pounds. I am thrilled. I was so worried. I focused on Protein yesterday was craving carbs so I ate about 5 Truscott but mostly sticking to salmon & sautéed veggies. Have a great day everyone

I am curious on cost & doctors for breast lift & Tummy Tuck. If anyone has any it would be great.

I am getting alot of attention. It is some what disturbing because I am not used to it. Just yesterday i went into the local library & was propositioned. The guy said you are so feminine i am hoping your not married so i can go home with you. Really! I told him well i am married see my ring. Geez Men dont care if your married. I have currently started counseling to learn how to not feel guilty for blossoming. My husband is attending with me because me living my new life has him scared to death. My husband & I this weekend in Albuquerque, NM at the Balloon festival. Anyone else running into these problems?

I have not been sick even once since my surgery. It is quite remarkable. Surely by now I would have caught a cold. I firmly believe my imune system is stronger. I used to be sickly with lots of ailments. Even my back is absolutely fine. I used to have to spend days in bed because my back hurt so bad. My husband had to help me get up to go to the bathroom. Gosh, I can leap out of bed now. I did try the other day, so I know I can, lol.
I'm at 155 lbs. That's a 115 lbs lost in one year. Amazing.

It's funny, though. I see a little trend. We are happy. Pretty. Doing well. But all of a sudden, I'm seeing (and feeling) insecurity in our threads. All I can say is SNAP OUT OF IT. We are remarkable.

This is my Doctor. Had my yearly visit yesterday. He is awesome!!!! Supposed to be back on Dr. OZ this month.

So, people are flirting with me. Not something I am used to. It has been so long since that happened I have forgotten how to even react. Mostly I get shocked but I hope my face doesn't show it. How is all that going for you all?

Congratulations on your 5K. Well done, isn't it amazing what a year does after WLS. You look so nice and your flushed face after the run is one of victory and I love it.
We are all new people. So many times I meet someone I used to know and they don't recognize me at all. Jeez I don't even recognize me on some pictures. Was I really that big?

Yes I understand my legs felt like cement blocks when I started. I now look forward to running it makes me feel so good. People are not recognizing me. I say hi do you know who I am. They say no mam I dont. Lol Then they are like no way and are proud of me. We are all awesome!

@@LisaCO you actually look like the granddaughter of the before picture. "That other woman" as my daughter commented! She thought you were two different people until I told her that's your 'before'. And Bronx... Wow! Just wow!
Wow, I'm so impressed with all of you guys' losses! I have been so stalled at 160 until two days ago. I am now at 158. Sooooo glad the scale is moving! Weird thing is, I didn't do anything different. Maybe your body just has to catch up and adjust itself over and over. I have 25 more to lose and then on to a neck and face lift! I have so much extra skin. Probably a combination of being heavy for so long and the skin stretching and then aging on top of it. I am 49 1/2 and my skin just doesn't have the elasticity it once did. Oh well,, better loose skin than skin filled with fat. I am so happy that I did this. My mobility is so much better. I actually used to fall a lot while walking because my legs were so weak and I haven't even thought about it until now but I haven't fallen probably for a year now. Little victories!
By the way, Beni, I don't think I could have gotten through the year without your positivity and getting so much information on this surgery from your posts. My doctor just kind of did the surgery and let me go, and you guys have really been my PA/ nurses. Thank you everyone!!
