Thanks for your responses.. I think I am going to try a reboot! My diet hasn't been the best, but I keep excusing it because I'm not gaining! I still want to loose another 50 lbs! Guess I'm going to have to get my butt in gear and do the work! Thanks

Hi all,
Well in July it will be my 2 yr anniversary of my sleeve! I started my journey at 336 and am currently 225! I have gained 10 lbs back since my lowest weight! I haven't lost in about a year and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to get back on the losing train?
TIA

It's your body adjusting to the lack of calories.. It will pass! I stalled at the three week mark for three weeks! But your body is thinking its starving so it's holding onto everything, it will adjust and the pounds will melt away, don't stress, just making sure your drinking your water!! Good luck and congrats you will do great!!

So I just felt like I needed to acknowledge and Celebrate that 1 year ago I made the best decision of my life! I chose to become a happier and healthier version of myself! Throughout my journey I have had ups and downs, looking back now it was completely worth it! For years I struggled going up and down on the scale, starving myself, binging, trying every pill and diet out there, working out and exercising like crazy, only to fall off the wagon and gain it all back along with a few extra pounds! I got to the point (336 lbs). That I knew I couldn't do it alone! And I made the chose to have the sleeve! Today I'm a whole new person and a whole 121lbs lighter!!!!! It's so crazy to think it has already been a year, it feels like a few months! I can't say enough great things about the life I'm living now! If your just starting your journey I wish nothing but luck and happy vibes! You can do it and even when things look bleak remember that there is definitely a rainbow waiting for you on the other side!!

Yeah my stay in Mexico was one night before , one I hospital and two in hotel then home, the flight home definitely wasn't fun, but I also delays and missed connecting flights and had to stay a unexpected night in Denver with nothing! I think day 4 was my worse day for feeling crappy.. But after that it was smooth sailing!

.I did claim it and it boosted the return by quite a bit. Alberta health also reimburses us around 2,000 dollars for it.
How did you get Alberta health to reimburse you???

It's very hard. Last night for dinner I ate a piece of pizza, spaghetti with butter and cheese and chocolate ice cream. And a can of pop....I was like aw yes, here comes some lbs. This morning I got up...the same. I'm on vacation tho lol so I do not eat this way all the time. Coming back to Mexico for plastics. I can't recall the place. My friend just came from there with a full mommy makeover and looks amazing.
Wow you can eat that much? I couldn't even eat a piece of pizza! Lol If you find out the name could you pm me! Id like to start looking into surgeons and start budgeting for it lol
-
Oh interesting! Lol yeah I'd still have enough chub, but your right it would be very hard to gain any amount back now! Can I ask where you are having your plastics done?
-
Did you experience much loose skin?
Hi jadyn!
I was sleeved July 25 2014 I'm down 114 lbs since surgery! I too have a bit of loose skin, mostly on my arms and stomach, but it's not that bad! With cloths on you cAnt tell! I think eventually I will have plastics but I still want to lose another 40-50 lbs and try to tighten up on my own!!
I'm from just outside ft sask....was sleeved July 22, 2014. Down 120 pounds since my heaviest, 100 pounds since surgery. I was sleeved in Tijuana. I've got a little bit of loose skin but it's not terrible. I'm actually in the process of gaining weight now so I can go for plastics.
Can I ask why you have to gain weight for plastics?

Hello all!
I had the sleeve in Mexico last July, I'm from canada and wondering if I can write off the cost of surgery as a medical expense? Anyone have an experience with revenue canada on this? Thanks

@@onthefencejenny well, judging by your username, it seems that you choose the right side of the fence. great work and keep it up!!!
@@Rovobay yeah I'm definitely on the right side now!! It's hard to believe I was so indecisive in the beginning! Wish I would have made this leap 10 years ago!!
