I had my surgery on April 30 and I have to make myself eat. For some reason I'm not hungry at all. I know I need to eat but the portions are even smaller than what is required. I'm sure I will get better. Good luck to you!

So its day 4 of my liquid diet. We just came out camping today at the lake... I'm wanting to eat so bad... All I can think about is food uggg !! I was fine till we got out here.. But that being said.. My weakness for eating is when I'm not doing anything or when I'm bored... Guess what camping is.. Haha I'm not giving in to temptation. But wow.. Its really hard today..

Hi May buddies!!! We made to the other side of the losers bench. Congratulations.
My surgery was May 5 and I came home yesterday. I still have quite a bit of gas inside, but that's making it's out and I'm pretty sore where the incisions are.
My question is....is anyone exhausted? I seem to be able to stay a wake for maybe an hour and then I have to lie down. It's not giving me a whole lotta time to get all my food, Water and Vitamins in. Any suggesstions?

Hi,
I am from the Twin Cities and had RNY on June 25, 2013 at St. Joe's in St. Paul. I have had a wonderful, complication free experience. I just celebrated 10 months and am down 186 pounds (40 was lost pre-surgery), The lead up to surgery takes time and patience, but can be done. The life that is waiting for you on the other side of surgery is SO worth it! If you have questions, please feel free to ask. I am on this site frequently. I have recieved so much support for the people on this site and would love to pay it forward.

hahaha! I feel ya on that one!! I'm sick of wearing mine too. Just make sure you don't stop using it abruptly -- the sleep study technician I had said that people can start gaining the weight back if they get off the CPAP before they stop having sleep apnea.

I"m scheduled for May 12th. I'm on Day 5 of liquid diet! Going good but I did have cottage cheese and some baby bell cheese. That seemed to help. Also been hitting the treadmill for 30 min all week. I
