I understand completely .. Believe me

I'm sick of my mother trying to talk me out of it because of her own insecurities. She searches for nothing but the bad and never comments on the good. I've been with her for a week and she makes me want to pull my hair out literally (I have a little) I just can't take the constant ridicule.

me too.....surgery date is August 4th. Patience, I don't have it!

Mine isn't set until September 8th,but still would be nice to know if all my hard work and determination paid off. Lady on the phone told me to try back at the end of the week.

That is what I was told, too, but I called the insurance company to find out. My approval was done in two days, and they sent me a letter in the mail saying that I had been approved for up to five days in the hospital. I called the surgeons office and was told that they had not heard anything yet, but to send the letter, The co-ordinator was out on vacation for a week, so no date could be set until she gets back. Well, knowing I had approval eased my mind. When vacation lady came back to work, I got my date. It's all about waiting and then waiting some more.

That's what I've been hearing..

I'll probably end up calling my insurance to find out sometime this week to see if they can tell me sooner.

Get it in now if u must! I paid "big time" last night trying to over do it post op! Try to change the habits now if you can though. I am 17 days post op and the hardest thing for me is waiting that 30 minutes after eating to drink something. Anyway, good luck to u!!!

I feel the same way about waiting to drink. I can't clear the spices from my mouth and throat. Oh well, we'll just have to follow the rules one meal at a time.

It will be my consultation appointment with the Gastro next Tuesday,Of course I'll have to make another appointment with them for the procedure (Hopefully they can fit me in sometime this month) and then that's it, Ready to send off to the insurance company and pray for approval!..July 8th!, That's right around the corner! Bet you're excited!
