  1. My doctor was allowing me to try more foods, but I foolishly went out and did some work on our farm, lifting some 50lb. bags of feed and made myself hurt all over again! (I was feeling so good I just didn't think!) then I fell and landed right on my stomach! Dr. Edwards then did a florascope just to check things out and I had made everything get swollen again but nothing slipped! (we were afraid I might have damaged or moved the band and I would have had to had surgery again)The good thing is I have good restriction still because of the swelling even though I haven't had a fill yet. But I'm back to not eating as many foods as I was. OUCH!!
  2. I'm on liquids for a week and a half until I see the my doctor again. I think he'll put me on mushies then. That will be this Tuesday.
  3. All that sounds good! I am supposed to be on liquids till I see the Dr. on Tuesday, but I figured that really finely mashed potatos and thin gravy wouldn't hurt. Hopefully?!
  4. I was banded 1 week ago and couldn't stand it anymore...I had mashed taters with some gravy on them tonite! Will it kill me or is it near enough liquid to mushie time?
  5. Thanks, I guess maybe I'm a wimp...I can't imagine working! I'm at home whining.
  6. My sister and I were banded 9/14 so only 4 days out, but we feel kinda "yucky"! We just don't feel good when we eat or drink anything! (and we are taking it slowly). The best I feel is when I'm asleep! Ha! Of course I get a lower backache then I guess I lay different to compensate for the stomach pain. When will I feel good again?
