Ladies... i too am stalled grrrrrrr. Surgey was 8/25 initially lost 10 the first 10 days.and thats the end of loosing. thought id beat it over the weekend.. but nope.. up half a pound again and no more. Oh well.. ive tried bring up my Protein from 60 to 80. Im walking more. I guess all we can do is carry on. Sorry this is happening to you ladies too...but i feel relieved that it appears common.

1. I returned to work 14 days after surgery. I actually am enjoying the first weekend after my first week back. I too have a desk job, and to be honest with you I feel great. Biggest worry was ensuring I had all my liquids and Protein.
2. I do not know of anyone that had someone stay with them, but let me assure you that you will be sleeping most of the time anyhow and you will be well taken care of by the medical team. Your companion will also be fine at the hotel, the staff there are great and my companion felf safe on her own.

Im exactly the same. Im glad to hear others out there have the same concern. I guess we will just have to wait and see how the solids go down. :l

Hi everyone. Well I was sleeved Aug 25th and I have been really lucky. Easily getting my liquids in no nausea and no real pain to speak of. My energy is ok.. im still on full liquids, but I did try some cottage cheese yesterday with no issues. It was nice to have something other than liquid. Ive lost 8lbs since surgery. Hope everyone is doing well.

Today is my 4 year anniversary. I was the one that originally asked the question about weight gain after surgery. Well I'm here to tell you that you can definitely GAIN WEIGHT BACK and not just a few pounds.
Although I'm very content and blessed to be wearing a size 8 today I was actually wearing some size 4's years ago. And was a perfect size 6 for over 3 years.
My goal weight was to reach 150 lbs. (a normal BMI weight for me). I got as low as 144 lbs. Today 4 years out I weigh 165 lbs. I have reached as high as 170 lbs. during my period.
The sleeve is a PHENOMENAL tool and 4 years out I STILL have amazing restriction. The weight gain is from not eating properly, PERIOD. For the MOST part I'm still making pretty good choices, but obviously there are choices that haven't been all that great to gain all this weight back.
I know age has something to do with it as well. I am 46 going on 47 and lots of changes going on lol. BUT NO EXCUSES for sure.
Again I'm content and watching my weight pretty closely now to make sure I don't gain any more weight and would love to be back to 150-155 lbs. I know it's possible for sure.
I'm so thankful for my sleevie.

I just thought id chime in and try and reassure you about going alone. The OCC will take very good care of you and the Marriot is fantastic. You will feel totally safe. I ended up meeting so many others that were going to the OCC and other hospitals it was like we became a little family. i did not go alone however i did hang out and relax in the lobby area alot by myself and it was amazing how friendly everyone is. Dont worry youll meet people... if not on here before you go, there forsure. Just know that those of us that have gone before you are here for support too. Your not alone.

Good morning all, my group is leaving TJ for home. We had a great experience at OCC , the team was lovely and kind. Very professional ! We all met some great and supportive people. All around a good experience. The staff at the marriott was amazing , so helpful and fun. They are well versed in the rules after surgery and are there to help in a second.
Now..... It starts

Hey everyone. Im feeling surprisingly great. I do have the gas pains and of course it feels likd ive done a million sit ups and have a running stitch in my side. But other that, im feeling good. Im getting in liquids, ive had herbal tea and chicken broth that im sipping at. Im now going to head down stairs here at the hotel to find a nice lounge chair to sleep in
We did it. Let our new life begin.

8/28 and Mexico is my sleeve day I told my girlfriend about it yesterday so she's going with me. I'm actually glad because I'm scared

I'm off to the bank tomorrow..... Holy sh*t

I could not have said it any better. That is EXACTLY how it feels. Lol

I scanned and emailed the copy of the cashier's check for my remaining balance yesterday and then I received all my final confirmation emails with my itinerary and whatnot. This is really happening!

Anyone else having trouble sleeping ? I think i'm getting nervous. LOL
I feel ok.. but ive been waking up horribly early and I cannot go back to sleep.
