    Happiness is...

No kidding lol I can so relate to that. Alll my discomfort left and I felt Sooooooo much better!!!!!
  7. Sounds good to me too. I was eating about that much 4 weeks out. I can remember having the same question... Is this too much. No.... You'll see once you start eating more dense foods your capacity will change depending on the foods. Hang in there. I'm 8.5 weeks and i'm delighted with the amount of foods i can eat and how much healthier i feel. Welcome to the loosers bench.

    AUGUST 25TH HERE!

Barium is what is in the liquid they get you to take when your getting imaging done. Referred to as a barium swallow. A barium swallow (or esophagography) is a medical imaging procedure used to examine the upper GI (gastrointestinal) tract, which includes the esophagus and, the stomach. they do this to check for leaks.

August post op sleevers: Check in

Hi Everyone, So Yesterday was my Sugiversary and I could not be happier with how I am feeling. The odd day of exhaustion and its sometimes been hard with the way your mind turns to negative thoughts or reasoning, but over all i have to say that as of right now this is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have suffered my entire life with being hungry ALL THE TIME. Eating to the point of full for me was like eating for two. I can say that that is gone. I now get full after a few oz. of food and I actually feel satisfied.Don"t get me wrong "head Hunger still comes into play and I know it will be hard at times ie. in social settings or missing foods that I will not be able to consume in mass quantities... but I have realized since I've started some of the soft foods this past few days that i think i may be able to eat more types of food items than i thought.. So far my stomach has behaved and not gotten angry about anything. **FINGERS CROSSED** the thought of eating foods that I have avoided tickles me to no end. Now when I say avoided... this was not due to nutritional value but due to them triggering my appetite. It was hell. Items like Yogurt would make me SUPER HUNGRY... Fat or no fat.. Full of Sugar or No Sugar. Greek or not greek my body just reacted liked an allergy. Today I can eat yogurt and no issue !!!! YAY Anyhow. I'm being long winded. I just wanted to chime in say HEY AUGUST 2014 sleevers Hope everyone is doing well. Ladies... i too am stalled grrrrrrr. Surgey was 8/25 initially lost 10 the first 10 days.and thats the end of loosing. thought id beat it over the weekend.. but nope.. up half a pound again and no more. Oh well.. ive tried bring up my protein from 60 to 80. Im walking more. I guess all we can do is carry on. Sorry this is happening to you ladies too...but i feel relieved that it appears common.
  17. Hi VegasOne 1. I returned to work 14 days after surgery. I actually am enjoying the first weekend after my first week back. I too have a desk job, and to be honest with you I feel great. Biggest worry was ensuring I had all my liquids and protein. 2. I do not know of anyone that had someone stay with them, but let me assure you that you will be sleeping most of the time anyhow and you will be well taken care of by the medical team. Your companion will also be fine at the hotel, the staff there are great and my companion felf safe on her own.
