Hi Sharon...I was sleeved on 9/8 and doing pretty well....I'm down 30 lbs which Includes the 2 week pre- op...I'm back to work and having issues with the same incision site... not all the time but it's an awful pulling. Burning..ripping apart sensation..I'm did have a tummy tuck about 9 years ago and had a few other stomach surgeries. .but never experienced this discomfort.....I'm seeing my doc this week..I'm to did call office they said it could be scar tissue...hope you feel better soon...
  4. Today I had 3 ounces of Greek yogurt mixed with protein powder and some baby food....(bananas) I had eaten it with a baby spoon and made it very smooth....I felt full and felt it in my back...I had water all day and just had a protein shake...but have that feeling again...seeing my doc for post op tomorrow. . My surgery was 9 days ago...just thought I share. ..if anyone has same issue, I haven't had any gas issues

  7. Hi Kathy I replied to u a bit late I had surgery last week, look through all the replies it's towards the end for some reason it didn't go through the way I wanted, I'm in bergen county, and you? I be happy to chat with ya if you wanted
  8. Totally!!!!!! Geezzz now that surgery is over its a huge huge relief and rest for my Brain!!!
  9. Hi Kathy Sorry I didn't get back to you ... My surgery was last week and I'm recovering and have been in the post op posts..... It took time to get used to the machine. FOr me it's the headband around my head more then the mask itself. It gives me a headache and if it's not on tight enough the air seeps through and then makes noice.....I'm a mouth breather so I have a full mask... But I did notice that I felt better using it, also it can be soothing.. The air and sound...sometimes I get up around 4 am and take it off. I had to bring it to the hospital and it was on me when I woke up...made my mouth very dry, I had an issue cause it turned out I wanted to keep it on even while awake in hospital cause I felt like it helped with my breathing and my doctor said that was fine. Give it time you will get used to it, and good luck to you.
  10. Thanks guys....I also have to take into consideration that I have had a tummy tuck in the past, which also tightens muscles in that area.....along with 2 other surgeries around that area...I think I may have been doing too much around the house...I'm home from work and bored!
  11. I'm 1 week post op....been fine with incision until tonite...have dull pain and burning feeling...I went out today and did some food shopping.
  12. Keep us posted! Wishing you well
