  3. Lucky....Wow, that's what happens to me too, the same pound up and down. I don't get it. I'm not over eating or anything. Very frustrated at this point. Thanks for letting me know..I will check back to see soon.
  4. Hi..I'm 5 weeks out and my weight has stalled. I don't know if I'm eating too little or too much. I don't see my Dr. Again until September. I list the first 3 weeks and then I haven't budged since. I dont know if i should go back to Protein only or what because im on soft foods right now for weeks 4 and 5 but i can have fruits, veges, carbs etc. Any help would be appreciated. I'm getting nervous that the surgery wasn't a success or my stomach stretched out or something.

  7. Today I started stage 3 too, I had mashed potatoes today and also had tuna with light mayo. I bought a butternut squash and spagetti squash for veges and I bought strawberries and banana and pineapple to blend for fruits. I havent tried them yet. Not sure about the meat thing yet. I will probably cook it and shred it and maybe some fish but not sure about any others meats. Any other suggestions will be great. Down 29 lbs since 2 week pre op diet and 14 since surgery May 28th. Not feeling hungry or full really just the same all the time, satisfied.
  8. Will the book be available to buy soon also, and where? Thanks
  9. Wow thats awesome...congrats..im almost 3 weeks out (wednesday ) and im down 14 lbs since the surgery and 28 since the 2 week pre op diet. Any advise on week 3 pureed fruits and small veges and meat??
  10. Any suggestions on pureed meats, vegetables and Fruit..I'm going on week 3 and they dont really give you much information on how to prepare these foods. What meats, veges and fruit would you recommend..

  13. Zackate, I did call the drs Office today, they werent sure, they said it could be gas or it could be my colon and may be backed up to monitor it. I have a pretty high threshhold to pain and its pretty bad. Ive had the rumbling gas pains and can handle them but this is a really sharp stabbing pain. Also experiencing lower extremity swelling so they are sending me to the hospital for an US to rule out DVT. Im just gonna keep monitoring it and see if I can pinpoint when it happens mostly if its an onset from something. Thanks for your help
  14. I keep getting really bad left side pain, it doesnt feel like gas pain, its sharp pain right under the breast/rib pain.

  16. Revision in TX, thanks for the advise..as far as the food it's only 5 things nothing crazy- cottage cheese, yogurt, sugar free pudding, scrambled egg and pureed bean soup. All of course in specific amounts as instructed. Then the following week they introduce a few more. Today I'm attempting a coffee with lactose free milk and slpenda. They said I can have one. I feel somewhat better today. Still resting and relaxing but also getting up here and there to walk around. Following everything the Dr. Told me to a T. I work for Drs. So I know the importance of following instructions because I see it everyday. It sounds like you did great with yours and it's kinda how I feel I will be too for some reason. Here's to hoping.
  17. 5 Days Post Op. Surgery went well..stayed over 1 night and was able to go home the next night. Surgery took 3 hours. If I could keep down water and shakes I could go home. Resting and walking around because of the gases they pump in you. Some discomfort but manageable. Lots of stuff to take when you get home though, took me days to figure it out. Still can't get in all the shakes and water they want you to, to full. Only managing 4 oz. Of a protein shake and that's taking me over an hour to drink. All and All No Regrets so far. Hospital staff was excellent and so was the Dr. I was even able to shower the next day. Just steri strips on the incisions. Week 2 I will be introducing 5 new foods. It's Amazing how your not hungry at all. But it's also strange because it feels like nothing was done aside from the pain in the belly. Very interesting.

  20. Surgery Went Well..Just in a lot of pain but they give you medicine for it to take the edge off..The Hospital People have been amazing, every last one of them @ Roger Williams Medical Center in RI. So Caring and Nice and Helpful. The worst part was getting my menses the morning of the surgery but they said that happens more times then not even if you weren't due. May even go home today they said. I was even nervous at all, it was so weird because usually when I have surgery I'm a mess and super nervous, maybe because I wanted this so much and was totally ready. Well back to bed I go. NIGHT ????
