Sounds like gas but being a nurse I would call the surgeon's office to be sure. You are too soon post op to ignore pain. Good luck hope all will be ok.

Zackate, I did call the drs Office today, they werent sure, they said it could be gas or it could be my colon and may be backed up to monitor it. I have a pretty high threshhold to pain and its pretty bad. Ive had the rumbling gas pains and can handle them but this is a really sharp stabbing pain. Also experiencing lower extremity swelling so they are sending me to the hospital for an US to rule out DVT. Im just gonna keep monitoring it and see if I can pinpoint when it happens mostly if its an onset from something. Thanks for your help

Be sure to keep hydrated which helps to :"keep things moving". Constipation can causes a lot of pain and discomfort and is also common if you don't keep hydrated.
