Anyone have regrets?
I think week 2 and 3 are the hardest for everyone. I know I had a few days that I was overwhelmed and wondered how I could work and get my fluid in etc but that passed and it will for you too. Good luck just keep moving forward.

Best thing I ever did!
Don't let the scale not moving fast upset you! We have all been there. Just continue to work at it. You will lose it. I found when the scales not moving I make sure I'm getting 70 grams of Protein and 100 ounces of Water and it starts moving again! Good luck on this awesome journey!

How much weight did you lose?
I started at 289, now weigh 167 and still losing. Been almost 9 months since I had surgery. Best thing I've ever did. Went from a tight 24w/3xl to a size 10 and a medium shirt. Hoping to get down to 148 to be in my bmi range. I know I am in better shape than I ever have been and feel awesome.

Question for "well-endowed" ladies...
Went from a 42DDD to a 36DD in 8 months. Now I just roll them up and stuff them in bra! Lol can't wait for plastics this Spring.

How many times a week or month do you weigh yourself?
I weigh myself daily. It keeps me accountable. I only track it in my spreadsheet on the 1st of every month when I take measurements. I think you have to do what works for you. I know everytime I have gained weight in my life its when I was avoiding the scale so I need the accountability daily. I dont let small flucuations freak me out but if I gain a pound I know I am more concious of Water intake the next day etc.

Feeling hot!
For the first couple months I would wake up about 3am just sweating. I finally decided it was my body burning calories. Lol. On nights I woke up sweating the next morning the scale had moved.

What kind of pain meds?
I didn't take any pain meds after leaving the hospital. Honestly the only pain I had was the gas that was trapped in my chest and back. I walked and walked and got it moving. Never been so happy to burp in my life. I honestly didn't have any other pain.

Tonight I went on my first date in years. I realize now how much I put my life on hold and kept saying when I lose weight I will "_______". Everything was waiting for the weight loss. Guess what the sleeve surgery had allowed me to take my life back! So here's to the new me. I'm going to do everything I want and live each day to the fullest.

Horrible Doctor Appt.
They didnt take any blood or run labs. My bariatric doctor hasnt ran any blood work since pre-op. They gave me labs they want done and sent to them for my year check up. Luckily I have a great primary care dr and we have monitored things and other than my Vit D being a little low all labs have been great. I think my surgeon is a great surgeon and has a very very low complication rate and I am thankful for that but the follow up stinks!

Menstrual Cramps After Sleeve
My period was about every 3 weeks for the first few months and they were way heavier than normal. I think it was all the estrogen in the fat cells I was loosing. Now 8 months out things are back to normal.

Horrible Doctor Appt.
Thanks. I didn't let it discourage me. Just found it all so strange. Oh well I lost a lb yesterday and did body pump and Zumba today so I will continue to work at it!

Horrible Doctor Appt.
I haven't hit a stall since about 2 weeks out of surgery. I have slowed the loss some but lost 10 lbs and 7 inches in December. I don't plan on slowing down. Do I need plastics. Yea probably but wouldn't do until I've lost all I can loose. A lady was at dr office in front of me yesterday and was telling the receptionist she had plastics on lower body 3 wks ago. She then said I had a lot of skin I weighed 365 when I had surgery and I lost 125 lbs. I was thinking why at 245 would you have plastics??

Horrible Doctor Appt.
Ok went to dr yesterday for 8 month appt. I have lost 118 lbs and really expected him to be like you have done great. Instead I get "you aren't eating enough" and "you probably have lost all you can without plastics". What!!!! I weigh 171 and am 5'5". No way am I done losing weight. I eat 800-1000 calories a day. About 60-80 grams protein and 50 or less carbs. I track food most days of the week and I cook and eat out rarely. Dr said "all sleevers" overestimate what they eat.

Worst "compliment" you have gotten since surgery
Let me state that by no means was this person a "friend" this person was a fellow barrel racer that honestly I probably haven't had 5 conversations with in the 5 yrs I have known them. Did it hurt my feelings? Hell No.... Did I find it rude? FOR SURE. And for those that think this was ok because I was FAT. Would it of been ok for me to tell her that she can't ride a horse for shit? Cause it's a fact.... I was just raised better and try to not say mean stuff to people. Honestly I found it funny.....

Worst "compliment" you have gotten since surgery
I ran into someone that I haven't seen in over a year. And she was like girl I didn't even recognize you not being fat! I was like really? All I can do to not be ugly. Yes I was fat, yes I've lost 115 lbs. get over it! Lol.

Vanity.....
Ok who else finds that they are vaner about their apperance now then before surgery? Before surgery I was pretty happy if things just fit. Didn't really care if it was loose etc. Now I try clothes on each morning and if its loose it goes to the donate pile! I guess I want to show off my weight loss. LOL its gotten kinda expensive since I have shrunk out of the multiple sizes I had in my closet but it feels great!

Once your have healed, how much manual labor can you do?
I found after 6 weeks when I could lift whatever weight again I can do anything I could before. The only thing I find is if I do real strenous things I keep some Peanut Butter handy in case my blood sugar crashes. I have had it happen 3 times in the 7 months since surgery. Once on a chicken farm getting it ready and it was 110 degrees and twice during body pump class when I was maxing out on weight.

What should I take to the hospital?
I packed all kinds of stuff and really all I needed was chapstick and clothes to wear home. It was easier to stay in the hospital gown as I had to pee every hour! I didn't even look at my phone hardly because the anti-nausea patch made my eye site blurry.

Anyone stop all Thyroid Rx post op?
I was taken off thyroid medicine after surgery 7 months ago. I have had my levels checked 3 times and levels are normal. Hoping they stay that way.

Do I have to tell my trainer?
I didn't tell mine. I think as long as you are eating some Protein before workouts where you won't get dizzy etc. I saw no reason to share with my trainer. I lost weight and wanted to get in shape is really all she needed to know.
