I am 6' tall and am now a size 10. My doctor and I did set a goal of 180 so I started running the beginning of the year. I am completely fine with my size, I am just working on toning my body now. I am the happiest I have ever been with my health and feel great and that's what matters the most to me!

I am 16 months out from surgery and I love these little convenient meals! One of those is still just the right portion size for me at work! ????????

My quality of life is so much better now and I am perfectly happy with my weight loss so far. I am going to continue the new healthy habits I have formed and take it from there! I'm a 23rd girl!!!! So excited to be headed down this path to a happier and healthier future. I on the other hand have always been "big boned", lol! I came from a family of obesity, so it was just accepted. My mom had RNY 3 years ago and is feeling n looking great. She has been a great inspiration to me and her surgeon is doing my sleeve. If this liquid diet for 2 weeks doesn't kill me I can make it through anything. I am so glad I found this app because it is awesome to hear other people are going through the same thing.

Hello everyone! I'm down 88.5 lbs, 40 pre-op and 48.5 post-op. I can't wait to be able to say I lost 100 lbs. What an incredible journey this has been! I feel great inside and out! I am so glad I made this life changing decision. It's so nice for once to have clothes falling off for being to big rather than tryin to squeeze into everything. It's nice to cross my legs with little to no effort and wear heels all day at work without changing into flats halfway through. I hope everyone is feeling good n doing well and I love hearing all your stories. Keep up the good work!

I was sleeved on January 22, 2013 by Dr. Brian Gluck in Muskegon at Mercy hospital. Dr Gluck is truly an amazing surgeon! I am almost at a year and have lost 98lbs so far! No severe complications, and I rarely ever had;/have dumping syndrome.

I have used the powdered PB2 in my shakes and it's been working great in my post op phase. No problems at all.

I had my surgery on 4-23 and was only allowed liquids 2 weeks before surgery and have to stay on liquids until I am transitioned to soft foods on 5-12. So that means Protein Shakes, broth, Jello, Popsicles, pudding, and Powerade zero for over a month. This is seriously making me crazy! I admit I have mixed in some mashed potatoes with my Protein broth a few times so I can feel satisfied, but this is the toughest diet I have ever had to follow. I give a lot of kudos to everyone who is going through this because it is definitely a true test of if you really want to change your life. Good luck to everyone!

I am 2 days post op and it has been rough. I haven't been able to pass any gas and that's been very uncomfortable. Still at the hospital because I'm not keeping things down well. Last night was the worst I was dry heaving for about an hour and it was hurting at my incision area horribly. I'm walking n sipping my brains out but not having very much luck. Hopefully things will start getting better.

Sarahjane79 how are u doing since your surgery? Any tips u can give to a girl that's only a week away and starting to freak out a bit?

Hello all! Dr.Gluck out of Muskegon is doing my sleeve on April 23rd. He did my moms RNY 4 years ago and he and his staff are second to none. Any time she needed anything or had any questions they were there. I have met with him one on one twice and he has a great demeanor about him. I do work in Grand Rapids and am looking for a support group there if anyone knows of a good one. Very excited for this to finally be happening!

Go to Lane Bryant and have one of their fit experts help find you the right bra for your new size. You can also buy a band smaller and buy a 3 pack of extenders for $8. This will help as you are shrinking down. Then as u become smaller u can take off the extenders and still have good support.

Having my surgery on the 23rd and my nerves are starting to set in. I am on day 2 of 14 for liquid diet. Pretty sure this will be one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I'm so glad I found this great app because everyone's stories and tips are a great help to me!

Mommyjamie, good luck to you! I know I've just tried to stay busy. Go get a pedicure or visit a friend. The sugar free Popsicles have been a nice go to for me as well. You can do it!!!
