  2. Hi All, It's been 6 months today!! Yay, doing well, almost 80lbs down! Trying lots of different food these days....being careful not to graze, which is easier said than done...planning on some 5k's this summer....trying to get out that inner athlete in me (it's been hiding since I was a child). How's everyone doing? Any Other Colorado sleevers out there?
  3. Me too, would love to be added...mine was 10/20/14....6 months today!!

  6. Hello All, A week past my 5 month post surgery date and feeling good! Wondering what everyone is eating and how many calories you're taking in? My capacity for food intake is definitely more than it was (as expected) but it makes me a little wary. Working on keeping my meals structured to 5 small ones a day. Would love to hear other stories.....do tell!

  10. Hello October Sleevers, Well I'm all set! Go in at 5:30am, surgery at 7:30am. Although I haven't posted much on this site yet, I just wanted to thank everyone for their contributions, it's been so helpful to read these posts and everyone's experiences!! I plan to be more active with posting next week!!
  11. Yep! I found out during my sleep study for the procedure. Although they said mine was minor and will probably go away after weightloss, they gave me a Cpap anyway....it's been interesting.....sleeping longer but it's odd at first. Didn't change my surgery date at all.
  12. Thanks Judy! Congrats on your success! Everything is ready to go! My doctor only requires a couple day of clear liquids before surgery which I'll start on Sat morning. Getting more excited...feel like I'm absorbing a ton of nutritional info right now...any advice for liquids that worked well for you? Thanks for the support!

  16. Hello All, My name is Laura and my surgery date is 10/20.....I'm very excited and of course a little nervous. So I'm interested in hearing about the pre surgery fast....what were some of the best drinks/protein shakes that you used? Did your doctor put you on a specific brand of liquids? I see my doctor on the 8th so I'll be asking him all this as well. Just wanted to here from fellow sleeves! Thanks for listening. Very ready, Laura
