Just looking at your pick you are very pretty and I bet he will be replaced soon with a newer and better version lol. Our hair will come back . Mine is super thin and I've been using topix spray to disguise it. That's the only product from topix I liked.

That is not an easy question to answer but I will give it a try. I miss shopping at the big and tall store. I miss being out of breath when I walk up one flight of stairs. I miss wearing 3XL shirts and size 50 waist pants. I miss being the biggest person in the room. I miss not being able to squeeze into a chair and feeling the armrests digging into my sides. I really miss my heartburn.(You know the kind that hurts so bad, you get tears in your eyes), I miss being called: "Big-T" at work. I miss sitting on my ass everynight shoving my face full of food and playing video games until 2 in the morning. I miss the sound of my thighs rubbing together when I walk. I miss trying to convince myself that because I had a bad day, I am entitled to eat whole pizzas, and drink 2 liter bottles of soda. I miss telling myself that tommorrow I will start my diet. I miss not getting compliments on how good I look. I miss staring at my feet when I walk in public. I miss not having self confidence. I miss my double chins. I miss how round my face once looked.
You can drink soda again. I have a few co-workers who have gained most if not all of their weight back. It has been said a million times on this site, but the surgery is a tool and that's it. It's what you decide to do with this tool that will make you successful.

"JeanZ_RN" Tomorrow I have my first date in at least 10 years. I'm so excited!! Found him on Plenty of Fish (which I learned about on this site). We've texted, emailed and spoken on the phone so far, and tomorrow we'll meet at a restaurant or coffee shop.

Premier Protein shake at costco this week has a $5 discount. It's normal price is $24 for a 18 pack now is $19 I got 3 packs strawberry and cream and chocolate. They also have different hakes and whey Protein Powder. I totally suggests you get the membership it's worth it.

I started doing the pre op diet an on the second week I ate solid food. After surgery my doctor was very upset and said that he had to go around the the liver and that I didn't care for the risks I put myself thru by not following the diet the entire 2 weeks. So my advice is if he told you to do the diet, do it. Avoid complications and an upset doctor.

My friend had surgery over two years ago, she had a baby in September, she gained 40 lbs. and lost 45 lbs. after giving birth.

Me too I'm in the same situation. I lost 14 lbs the first week and didn't lose a pound in 10 days! I eat between 400-550 calories a day. I struggle with Protein some days I get 50grams other day max of 35. When I eat it's between 1 table spoon and 1/4 of a cup. When I feel like snacking I have a 15 calorie sugar free Popsicle I'm so frustrated I thought I would be losing at least 3 lbs a week due to the fact I'm not eating as much as I used to. I wanna be patient but I'm very scared that this won't work for me, sometimes I just want to cry.

I thought everyone must be avoiding tax day because I hadn't heard from anyone else on here that they were having surgery on the 15th like me!
I requested 3 weeks off personally. But I told my job that it would depend on how surgery went. Some ppl go back after a week if they really have to and dont have too strenuous of a job. My surgeon said 2 to 3 weeks is average.
