  1. To date I've lost 39 lbs. It would be great news had I lost the weight in s healthy way but since day 1 I haven't been able to eat or drink anything without throwing up and feeling nauseous all day every day. I'm weak and dehydrated. I was released from the hospital a couple of days ago (after being there for 5 days) with the diagnosis of gastritis. Has anyone experienced this? I'm miserable and depressed. I want the band off. Help!!!!

    Are fills necessary?

Thanks for your responses. I truly appreciate them and will take them to heart.
  3. Did they tell you how they think your port flipped? I ask because I'm 4 weeks post op and have been throwing up everyday. So I wonder if my port has flipped.

    Are fills necessary?

I spoke with the surgeon yesterday and was told that this might be feeling like this because I'm constipated. I've always been constipated so I don't think much about it; however she told me to try magnesium citrate over the weekend to see if I feel better. If not she recommends I go to the ER for an IV for fluids. I can honestly say I've been miserable since the surgery and regret doing it. I think I was happier before.

    Are fills necessary?

Thank you. I'll call them tomorrow.
  6. I am 4 weeks post op and can't eat much if any. I'm always nauseous and vomiting nothing because I have nothing. I do burp a lot and am not sure if that's why I feel so nauseous. At this point I don't drink much either. I'm worried about becoming dehydrated. So I'm at the point where I don't think getting a fill is a good idea. Any one know if it's ok?
  7. I am 44 years old. 4 weeks post op and have lost exactly 30lbs. My preop weight was 205lbs. However, I'm still very nauseous and am having a hard time eating anything. I drink and eat very very little.
