  1. I had my sleeve surgery on a Monday and went back to work the following Tuesday. No pain pills needed. I have a desk job and had no problems...not tired or anything and this was after a 5 day hospital stay due to complications from my band that I had removed a month prior. I had alot of swelling and could not swallow a sip of Water..so they would not let me leave until I could. But 3 days home and I was ready to go back to work
  2. I am May 19th ...Best of luck to you !!!!!!!

  17. CONGRATULATIONS !! I had my lap-ban removed on 4/14 and had to wait 5 weeks for the sleeve which will be 5/19...I thought the time would never come buy the weeks have flown by ..so don't worry..it will be here before you know it !
  18. Rocangela.. Don't be worried.. I had my band since 2008 and had it removed on 4/14. My surgery was 7:30 am and I was on my way home by 10:30am. Never needed a pain pill ! I went back to work on Wednesday ( I could have easily gone back Tuesday..but I had already planned to be off- so I stayed home). My doctor will not do both at the same time either- he feels the stomach needs to reshape and heal. I am getting sleeved on 5/19 ! They did get approval for both surgeries at the same time. It was two separate approvals, but I rec'd them on the same day.
  19. Congratulations !!!!!
  20. Dear BrickHouse, Thanks for the advice!! ...CVS has that sale going on now, so I will go stock up this week. I was wondering the same thing ..where is Kyle??
  21. I will be joining the May Sleevers on the 19th so I am getting everything ready. I am having a hard time figuring out the best multi-vitamin and Calcium Citrate to purchase now to have at home for after surgery....There are so many choices in the stores and online...So I would like some first hand recommendations... Thanks!
  22. Hi Everyone... I am starting to get everything I need for post-op and I am stuck on the Vitamins, so I am hoping you can offer some advice. Must they be chewable or liquid ? The B-12 and Vit D I take now are very small so I thought I could continue with them..But the multi w/iron and calcium citrate are horse pills ! Besides the chewable kin- I see they make "petites" (both CVS brand and Citrical) ..would they be good??? I have gone to the store at least 5 times, stood in the Vitamin aisle for an hour each time and left empty handed..so any advice would be appreciated ! Thanks !!
  23. Best of luck to you !! I am sure you efforts will be worth it in the end ... I had my band removed on 4/14 and I am scheduled for the sleeve on 5/19 ...I can't wait !!
  24. Best of Luck to you !!!!!!! Sending good thoughts your way
  25. Hope you are feeling better !! Did something cause this or does it just happen??? What were your symptoms ?? Is it common ?? My surgery is in a couple of weeks, so I get nervous when I hear of things like this!! Thanks
