Today is the worst day I've had yet. I'm sad, crying, oddly not hungry. I hope I just exhausted myself yesterday because I decided I felt great and would forgo a scheduled day off and drive to the office and do a few things. Now I can't get out of bed. I'm craving apple juice, maybe cause it was the only comforting thing at the hospital? I don't know really. Just needed to vent maybe. -

My iv is out, my regular clothes are on, I do my barium test today and have my drain removed. We stay tonight and leave in the morning! Oh and I get broth today, woohoo. Still 2400 miles away from home but my dogs and cats and humans are all awaiting my arrival, it's going to be fantastic. This thread has been very helpful, thank you again for everyone's support. -

Today is going great! I've never been so excited for such a small amount of Gatorade. Two more days here then we head home, still seems surreal that this has even happen to me. I hope everyone else continues to do well. Stay positive! It's all downhill from here. -

I've been out of surgery for a couple of hours. It went swimmingly. Feeling good walking around, the staff here is so attentive it's amazing! -
