I work at an office and went back to work in a week. It was exhasuting but doable. 3 weeks I feel pretty close to normal. Make sure you get a bariatic Vitamin - those have helped A LOT! It just depends on how active your job is.

Well just went to 1 month check up and down 30lbs from 373 to 343. My blood pressure is way down too and almost normal. Really no complications to report, gotta say I wish I would have decided to do this a long time ago. I do admit I had it relatively easy. I never had any gas pains and no issues eating either. I would have to say my worst part of the surgery was drinking that horrible dye for my swallow test the day after and then getting to the room just in time to throw it all up. Aside from that pain was down to an easily tolerable level in 3 days and off meds for pain in 5 days. By far this is the best decision I have made.

What's up guys. Today makes one year post op. I've lost a total of 137 pounds and I still think getting sleeved was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Alot has changed in this year. I'm in a new relationship I will start music Engineering School in April and I've lost my job of 9 years. All these are good things though even being fired from my job. I can't complain it was good to me for 9 years and it helped me get the Surgery so it was well worth it. I love my new life. I work out 3 to 4 times a week. My weight is between 170 to 175. I'm lifting weights and running mainly. I eat healthy for the most part but I still indulge every once in a while (mostly popcorn....inny). One of the best things about being sleeved is being inspirations for so many people around me. I know 2 people who have watched my progress and who have also gotten sleeved. I'm gonna keep up the good fight. See you on the losers bench.

My name is Chris and I am an 42 year old male who has battled weight as long as I can remember. As I have aged my weight has really slowed me down. I am just at that point of being pissed for allowing this to hold me back for so long. I have been aware of these procedures for years as I am an operating room nurse. Maybe ignorance is bliss when it comes to surgery. I am having my sleeve on April 17. I am very excited and honestly fearful of this journey but it is one I have to do. I am blessed to be having surgery in an operating room I run and at a hospital of friends. It is great reading the stories of others and not feeling so alone in this issue.
