  2. Could be from the protein drinks.
  3. I know. I hate it. my choices are so limited compared to others. I can't have anything that Heather listed. I'm really curious how each diet's statistics are as far as weight gain back or not goes...
  4. Have you tried the grape flavor yet?
  5. Is yours (any of you) dimpled in on your belly too? I Google imaged but couldn't find any that lik like mine. I hate it and really hope it pops out.

  12. Age 50 and under 1000 mg calcium citrate, 1500 mg for over age 50
  13. Not because of insurance but because I felt invisible to him and he's made me feel like I'm a bother with my questions. I've posted my experience on other threads and I won't repeat it here but I told my family Dr I didn't want to see our bariatric dr again and he called our bariatric dr and told him so he could get blood work orders. At my husband's appt today he said he heard I was mad at him and didn't want to see him again and asked why. So I told him the main reasons (not all though) and he apologized. I will give him another chance. We see him in two months for our three month follow up. Am just disappointed with my whole experience, though I'm sure he did a great job with the surgery. I just hope he's more receptive to me. That's all I ask. I don't want to feel like a number and a $57,000 paycheck to him.
  14. I'm still feeling with that. I keep pulling the internal stitch and muscles I bought a belly band and that helps a lot.
  15. I just found out our dr does bw at 6 mos. I feel like it should be done earlier. He said it's because everything needs to get evened out after surgery and sooner than that is not accurate.

  17. Yes Pik, like that. He said about 6 wks. I'm just impatient and worried it'll stick like that. My belly looks deformed. So what did he do? Attach a stitch to my ab muscle?? Why? None of the other incisions are doing that gross indent. I picture when that stitch dissolves my belly will all of a sudden POP back out and be normal. Lol
  18. My biggest incision, about an inch or two, to the left side of my belly button, is a big indent but bulging above the incision. It's always been that way since surgery and I've asked Dr about it twice and he said is the stitch and it will dissolve in a few weeks and it'll pop back out. Is everyone's like this?
  19. Thank you!!!! I'm going to keep this thread handy to go back to when I need it :-)
  20. Don't worry! It's definitely a learning experience! I learned today that swallowing too big of bites is definitely not a good thing. Ow.
  21. Our Nut/Dr don't allow soups of any kind in liquid and puree/mushy stage. I don't think they recommend it in life long stage either as it just goes right through you and doesn't keep you full but I can't imagine never having soup again, that's just silly. Every Dr's requirements are different (which, to me, is totally frustrating!)
  22. Alone. He's also concidered a bariatric center of excellence. Ha. I will have to call my insurance bariatric program and see if I'm allowed to change and hopefully there another bariatric dr that will take another bariatric drs patient.
