  3. Welcome SandraB! I'm so excited that it's hard for me to concentrate on anything else. I have been cleaning my whole house this week to keep busy.
  4. Thank you Jomamacita. I am using a sippy cup and it works great. I also put my shakes in the sippy cup I just made the holes a little bigger for the shake to go through.

  8. Jomamacita I am doing the same thing buying all that I need for after surgery. I think about having this surgery 24/7 I'm on the pre-op surgery diet and having a hard time stretching out my meal for 30 mins. I'm having a hard eating slow. I'm freaking thinking I'm a failure already.

  11. My two week diet is proteins shakes I can eat veggies, scrambled eggs, pork loin. It has to be a lot of protein. After surgery I start the liquid diet.
  12. I noticed I have gas from the shakes...do you?
  13. I bought my scale at Amazon it was $36.00 for $15.00 it's great! I also bought 3 and 4oz ceramic bowls and containers too.
  14. I'm having some difficulty sipping my shakes not as much with the water. Is there anything I can do to help me sip my protein shakes? I'm on my 2nd day of the diet.

  20. Boppin I'm a guzzler too. I thought sipping would be so hard but it's not to bad. I'm on my 2week pre-op diet surgery date is 7/30.
  21. My surgery is 7/30 I saw the surgeon and nutritionist yesterday. I just started my first week on the liquid diet today. Next week till the surgery I start my protein shakes. So far so good I'm not hungry for food.

  24. How long is the pre-op diet for? I see my surgeon, nutritionist and get blood work tomorrow. Insure I'll find out tomorrow but I was wondering how long do most stay on the diet for.
