  1. July 30th surgery. I have never got sick since my surgery. It was a very easy recovery after the first week. I've lost 80lbs so far. I so happy I had this surgery. I was going to get the sleeve but doc said it was not good for me because of acid reflex so I got the the gastric bypass.

  3. Well I my body did not like the foods I was not suppose to eat... I did not feel well. I never actually got sick I will never do that again. I will make turkey soup this week End.

  5. I'm 5 months out and lost 80lbs. I will half a teaspoon of everything and a small piece of turkey. I will not over eat. After dinner a few hours later I will have a sliver of pumpkin pie. I feel I can do this just for Thanksgiving. I'm also very thankful I had this surgery! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

  7. My surgery was on July 30,2014 I weighted 247 I lost 70lbs I'm 5' I went down 5 sizes.

  11. I lost 70 in 3 months! I'm down 4 sizes and the weights is just melting off. I ore than half way to my goal weight...This is so exciting! My journey has been great no nausea, dumping, no negative side affects. As soon as I take new pics I'll post them.
  12. I wore the clothes on my back and only brought toothbrush and toothpaste because I don't like their's. I wore their gowns and I bought a change of undies. I wore the same clothes home.

  14. I'm not even 3 months out and I believe my pouch has stretched I so upset. It's all my fault because I drink water and eat fast. I don't drink with my meals. But I feel like I can eat a little more. I have lost about almost 60 lbs I do eat the Right foods.

  16. Thank you cupcake and joy59. My dinner was delicious! I had the salmon cut the size of a deck of cards and about a 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes and I was full.
  17. I have lost 55lbs. I feel great. Today is my birthday and we're going out to dinner tonight. I was thinking of having grilled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. I don't want a vegetable because they don't fully cook them. Does this sound good for 2 months post-op?
  18. M looking for a chewable calcium citrate. I only find pills or the chew bites by bariatric advantage. They are Chocolate and peanut butter they make me gag.
  19. Today I was able to have soft foods and I was so happy to eat instead drinking constantly. Protein drinks Still does not taste good at all. I always put milk in the shake tomorrow I will try it with water. I finally Found something other than water I like...Isopure drinks they come in a glass bottle. They come in Delicious flavors.
  20. An you stretch your pouch by drinking a lot of cold water? I'm constantly sipping a lot of water all day. I remember One day I sipped water when I was full because my mouth is always dry.
