Bring ready made protein drinks...they are fulling. Just do your very best to stay focused on what the cause is getting a new life. Stay active that will help you get your mind off of food. Yeah I initialed the paperwork last night it freaked me out too. I go for my Anastasia test on the 15th. I just ordered some measuring bowls, measuring cups, spoons and a food scale. I just have to buy the vitamins and a pill crusher. I started to drink protein drinks in the mornings and I love them.

My surgery is July 30th. I'm so excited I can't wait!

I see arianne about nutrition then get more blood work end go to physical therapy. Do you use the physical therapy program?

Hi SoniaJ - I got my surgery date set for July 30th. I'm so excited I can't concentrate on things because I think about is the surgery. I see Jeanette, Dr Gandsas' nurse to go over what I have to do before the surgery. I believe I need a blood test again. You know Dr. Gandsas changed my date to 2 months earlier because of the Barrett's. Thank a God my insurance approved to move my date . Aww man June 16th I wish that was my choice! My doctor never suggested a calorie limit either. 11g of Protein is great. I have an Excel spreadsheet that has almost 100 grocery store, frozen, and fast food items that are all high in protein (and I'm adding to it all the time). Forum rules don't allow me to post it but I'd be glad to email it to you if post your email address or PM it to me. I've sent it to dozens of folks here on the forum. One of the biggest (and best) surprises I've had following my RNY has been the number of delicious, high protein options there are out there!![ I'm having GB July 30 and I would love to get your food spread sheet if you don't mind. I'm having my surgery in August I won't know the exact date for about two to three weeks. My surgeon Dr. Gandsas had to write to my insurance company to ask the move the date up fromSeptember because of the Barrett's. My hospital is Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

I had to get over the fact that I could not get the sleeve and have to get the bypass. I did a lot of research too. I have no choice it's either that or nothing and I can't live like this anymore.
