Insurance denied revision to bypass from sleeve
Bs you can't appeal it Of course you can. What state are you jn? Appeal it to the insurance commissioner State that insurance prohibited you appeal rights Then clearly state why you need the surgery all he medical reasons why. Do not refer to prior complications they paid for State where and how you meet today's medical guidelines Before you appeal request a copy of the medical policy so you can attach it. Make sure you meet every required point in it

60 pounds :(
Wo really? I think that's amazing and you should remove the only. You can't compare yourself to others. I hope in 6 months I can say I've lost 60 pounds I try to walk every day and am 10 days post op. I started puréed this week and needle has not moved. I expected this. Just a little sad though Hope I am at 60 by 6 months

Stuck between a rock and a hard place
You can; 1-purchase a private plan I the exchange that does cover it 2- you can get on the wife's plan if she covers it 3- see if current employer offers another plan with coverage 4- self pay in Texas is about same price as Mexico. There is another thread on this already

FRUSTRATED!
If medicare is your secondary coverage why did they cancel? That's not clear. They'll just pick up the costs of copays and deductibles after Cigna.

Worried that i am not on track.
Some folks are just slower losers than other I think there's a forum for that. As long as you are logging everything you eat, following the food plan, and staying active then I think you should meet your goals.
