Hey Sleevers, My surgery was 6-27 and everything went well. My post op bowel movement was my biggest concern. Then I went to stage II, and I think I went overboard. I was showing a steady loss up until the puree part, and i ate pureed chicken salad with lite mayo and I felt like I was going to bust. This was on 7-8, now I haven't had a bowel movement and I am staying the same weight for 2 days. HELP!!!! Stomach still doesn't feel right, today I wouldn't eat anything slightly solid at all. I am going to wait 1 more day before I call the NUT and ask her advice. My question is, has this happened to anybody here and if so how many days until I feel normal again? Thanx in advance for your help, you guys are a God send, I wouldn't know what to do without you. AnEMal

Hello sleevers, HW-293 SW-281 CW-275 I just have a quick question, how long after surgery does it generally take for your first bowel movement? I was sleeved on Friday 6/27. I started my post op diet including 4oz Protein shakes on my 1st full day home from the hospital. I feel great very sore (had a severe hiatal hernia repair also), so I'm experiencing painful burps. All in all I'm happy with my decision. Thanks AnEMal

My surgery date is on June 27, 2014. What can I expect to fell for my first few days after surgery? I am excited and nervous at the same time.
