Wow i'm set for 9:15:14…but i call yesterday just because a girl in the office used the wrong word…and am less than a month away…if i was in you're position i would for sure talk to the doctor..if u can't speak to him cancel…u are self pay…that just horrible…makes me wonder about that doctor….good luck!!!

Oh dear have seen this before...my mate had gastric bypass done a few years ago...all of a sudden she's all about herself...nothing is wrong with that but its the aggressive way she talks...When we go out she will sit there and be critical of what the other mates eat...or wait until she's home to ring me stating "did she really have all that food"...and took extras, or she will say things like hmmmmm is so and so still fat....i am now a size two why don't this person join the gym...i just chalked it up to she's got her confidence back!!!!...but the good thing is u see the issue and u are seeking help...good luck!!!!!..with ya skinny self....lol

I have an 18 year old son and yes a do carry on about my weight and up coming surgery...when i got the news i was approved he said..Wow i hope u don't get skinny like me ...lol..teens love u but a bit self centered...later on he said congrats mum..please don't start that bit about wearing my jeans...lols...but on the other hand he did say we can go to the gym together... ...i just asked god to get me through this and make me healthy...maybe she's scared...give her time...good luck!!!

Sorry after test and this is what i did....an outside company rented me a CPAP machine i slept with this contraction for a night and return it to the company...they studied my sleep pattern and gave the result to my doctor...i have mild sleep apena...i do snore according to my niece and son.. lol

Both test are quite easy.. what @@Beagle put to slp...i did both and was wide awake....now the EDG i was knocked out...

Well the doctor put tubes down you're nose..and if i recall correctly..u inhale a few look in the ears...while you are hooked up to a machine...the end !!!..easy peasy!!

No worries Nate..i thought my surgery would never happen…read as much as u can from this site…write you're questions down go in prepared…My questions were..even though i already know was which surgery was best for me..how much weight would i loose…how long is the recovery…would i have any deficiencies after surgery…good luck

I don't have you're Insurance but my BMI is low but i do have comorbidities and i got approved…we are truly bless..good luck to u!!!

U did say u told you're surgeon u will follow and not lose...and his response to u ...the doctor is the expert just listen to him and stop playing the mind games with you're self...where did u get that idea from?...U should search this site and see the many articles and ppl way older than u and the amount of weight they lost ...u really need to be positive about the surgery....meno or not!!1

I have UHC also..My paper work was submitted ob July 17th ....was denied because of missing chemical blood work...resubmitted a week later and approved after i call UHC on August 5th and was told i was still in denial....by august 6 got the call from my surgical coordinator that i was approved...a few days later i got a letter from UHC that i am approved...good luck!!!!!!

Swollen iv area happens all the times...not just from having the sleeve....i had my Appendix taken out and had swollen iv area......a warm compress will fix that....congrats on you're surgery!!!

OR water enhancers work well...sugar free of course

Hiya...u will be fine take it from a PRO lol who had a few surgeries....lol We are all september sleevers!!!!!...and might i add i was before my appendix just like u....focus on the weight u will loose and how confident and happy u will be.
