  1. Had my surgery on the 24th. I came home last night. It is a 2 hour drive and that really wiped me out. I have a drain and it is flowing which I guess is good. Getting the fluids in OK but not easy. Setting around dozing off. My kids food smells terrible but the food commercials k great! Hope others from the 24th are doing well!
  2. Me Too! I'm having my gastric bypass tomorrow as well. Four of us I've found so far on the same day. I can't wait for tomorrow afternoon and the dreading is over and the recovery begins!
  3. Surgery tomorrow at 11! Scared, excited and ready to get it over with. I'm ready to start my new life. Unfortunately my daughter and son are both sick. Hope I don't catch it.
  4. I'm the 24th too! Good luck to both of us. Are you nervous? I swing between feeling sure of my self and wanting to run! I guess that's normal for such a huge life changing decision.
  5. As I get closer to my surgery date... I have this urge to join Weight Watchers one more time just before surgery and be a very SUCCESSFUL loser! I failed so many times at Weight Watchers. I want to go into the meeting confident I lost weight. I always use to run to the bathroom to save that pound of water on the scale. I want to head to the scale and not worry about the weight of my clothes compared to last weight in. I want to collect all the 5 pound ribbons, stickers, little metal awards and become a lifetime member! I know its crazy!
  6. I'm scheduled for March 24! So nervous, so excited! I'm ready to get on with it to be past the operation...
