Jess--I have fibro as well and use cymbalta daily and hydrocodone as needed for the pain. It's been a catch 22 though because they say exercise helps but I'm so heavy and it hurts to exercise much so... I'm really hoping the wt loss helps alleviate fibro symptoms and the actual surgery doesn't hurt more BECAUSE of the fibromyalgia!

just started my preop liquid diet and have to be on it until my surgery on the 18th. This liquid thing is going to be hell! I only get 750 cals/day--is that similar to what you guys have to do?
