This has been my greatest concern . I was sleeved in April . I wish someone would do more study on Hair loss with gastric surgery and come up with preventive treatment . But until then I just purchased a set of clip on hair extensions . I secretly wore them to church and nobody noticed I had fake hair ! Lol

First, congratulations on your weight loss thus far! That is quite an accomplishment.
For me, part of the reason I am getting the sleeve is to stop the yo-yo dieting. I feel like a need a tool to help me maintain my weight loss (once it happens) as much as I do to loose the weight in the first place.
You know yourself best. Trust your heart and head. Try to tune out other people and listen to your own mind.

I wish I would have known how disgusting and frustrating the "frothing" syndrome can be. I wish I would have known that some people develop an intestinal problem that causes them to throw up when they have bowel movements [sorry I know this is an icky topic] I wish I would have known that I would be one of those people I wish I would have known that despite the slow weight loss, I would have to buy a new pant size every month. I wish I would have realized that the first things I would lose would be my baby face and my, umh, "girls". But I'm not complaining. I did this for my health and I'm am extremely happy.

hey everyone today I hit 100 lbs. I am so happy. I was 330llbs. Date of surgery I was 318 lbs. Today I currently weight 218. THIS IS AMAZING I CHANGED MY LIFE ON JUNE 11, 2013. I won't change a thing. It's never easy but I have accomplished a lot. It's get tough but don't give up!!!

I just have told everyone, it will be very hard to hide the rapid weight loss or the fact that suddenly you aren't eating like you used too. Some people say 'good for you', while others think I'm crazy and should lose the weight naturally. But in the end it's my choice!
