    Numb feet?

I am 11 weeks post op today. Down 38.5 lbs. Lately when I am on the treadmill or elliptical halfway through my workout my feet get numb. Anyone else get this????
  2. So I am 6 weeks post op. Tonight is the first time I feel like I want to puke. (Since the first 2 days after surgery that is) I think I ate a few more bites than I should have. It has been more than 2 hours since I ate and I still feel crappy. I almost want to make myself vomit so I feel better. How long is this feeling going to last? I am also worried that I won't be able to get in all my fluids tonight. Still have 32 ounces to drink.
  3. I am 4 weeks and 4 days post op. Right now my NUT put me on stage 4. I have a long commute in the morning which starts at 5 am. That is when I drink my unjury Protein drink. I usually drink chocolate and add 2 tbsp of decaf instant coffee.(20 g protein + 8 oz fluid).Tastes like a mocha. Then breakfast about 1.5 to 2 hrs later. This is usually light and fit Greek yogurt or cottage cheese. (12 g protein). Between breakfast and lunch I sip on crystal light or decaf herbal tea. Then lunch is usually 1/3 c tuna which I dressed up with fat free mayo and brown mustard. If I can I try to eat a few bites of peeled apples or applesauce. Sometimes instead of tuna I eat chili with Beans or cottage cheese with a couple slices of canned peaches or pears. No sugar added. (About 12 g protein) After 30 minutes I start my sipping again. I start off in the morning with a 33.9 oz cup. My goal is to to finish it by evening. Mid afternoon about 2 hrs before dinner. I have another unjury protein shake. (20 g protein + 8 oz fluids) Dinner is about 2 oz of lean meat ...shredded chicken or beef or baked fish. A couple tbsp of pureed veggies or mashed sweet potato. (About 10 g protein). Then I start my 2nd Fluid goal of another 20 oz between dinner and bedtime. (4 hrs time) So total about 75 g of protein and 69 oz of fluids. Veteran sleevers... is this good advice? ?

    February Sleevers.... Check in!

Sleeved Feb 27 HW: 384 SW: 341 CW: 320 Just came out of a 2 week stall. Thank God the scale started moving again!
  5. I am 2 weeks 3 days post op. Lost 17 lbs so far. Started going to the gym everyday since last week Wednesday but haven't really lost anything since I started working out. (Hmm??) I am a little frustrated right now but that is another story. I went to the gym for workout again today. While at the gym I get a text from the hubby. "Can you pick up KFC on your way home for dinner? " Ummm what?? Seriously? WTH!! Never went through a drive thru and picked up food and didn't get to eat it didn't eat it. The car ride home was torture. It smelled so good. But I kept repeating to myself "I am strong I am strong"
  6. Had surgery 2/27. Two weeks ago today. I lost 16.5 lbs. Woo hoo!! 6 inches overall. I am wearing clothes that I hadn't worn in a while cause they didn't fit. Very excited! A little nervous about being at work with a new routine. The crying and thoughts of not "making the right decision" the first couple of days are just a memory now. Went to the gym for the first time yesterday. Spent 30 minutes on the treadmill. Couldn't believe it. Things are looking good so far! I want to say thanks to all you guys on this site. Reading your posts gave me a lot of strength the first few days when I was down in the dumps. Happy now!
  7. I am 1 week and 5 days post op and I spent the first 3 days so depressed and crying that I started thinking that I was going to regret my decision. Be patient...read the posts on this site. It will help and you will find that you are never alone and there is always someone that has had a similar situation. Good luck!!
  8. Ok...thanks. I will check with my dr. Thanks for the insite.
  9. Jerseygirl68....PPI?
  10. So here's the deal...I was sleeved on Feb 27th and virtually felt no major pain. (Possibly because I had gallbladder surgery on Jan 6th...and that was ridiculously painful) I was nauseated for the first two days but have been fine since. I am still craving food and I have been on pureed foods since day 3. I feel hungry most times. It almost feels like they cut me open and forgot to take part of the stomach out. I know I should be greatful...but I am wondering if this is going to work. Ugh! I have been reading a lot of posts and all I see are people with all the opposite issues.
  11. I am 2 days post op. I am not in any pain. The nausea sucks but I am handling it ok. I just feel like part of me has died. I am so depressed. I am sitting here and I feel like my choices have been taken away from me. I can no longer get up and grab whatever I want and put in my mouth. I can no longer sit down and eat normally with my family. I have been home for two dinners so far and I sat in the living room while they ate. I could smell all the food. I am feeling hungry and I don't think that is normal from what I hear. Just feeling pretty sad.
