  1. Hi there cantwait1. We share the same surgery date so I guess that makes us sleeve-sisters. Welcome to the forum. My surgeon requires a two-week liquid diet which consists of Clear Liquids and full liquids but the day before surgery, I am on a clear liquid diet. Did your surgeon specify which diet... clear or full?
  2. That's awesome!!! Congrats.
  3. That is absolutely fantastic!!! You have done an awesome job working your sleeve and it is truly showing. You have worked hard. Congratulations.
  4. I love Panera Bread and their low-fat chicken noodle soup is absolutely delicious.
  5. Amybaby33, I'm so happy that you are doing so well. I believe a positive attitude is half of the battle to a speedy recovery. I wish you continued success with your sleeve. You are doing great. Msmomof3, I'm right there with you. My summer class ends the week we have surgery and I have to take a final exam and turn in a project. I teach a group of four year olds and they are a very busy bunch. I will return to work a week after surgery. I know that we will do great because we are determined and focused and we are both ready to start our "new life".
  6. Good for you DrMommy. The sooner the better. Wishing you luck.
  7. Wow!!! Your weight loss is awesome. Keep doing what you're doing. You will definitely make your goal. Good luck!

  12. Carmen, my pre-op diet consists of a whey Protein shake for Breakfast, lunch and dinner and a high protein snack of at least 25 grams of protein. I sip on Clear Liquids and full liquids between meals. I have have the following clear liquids: Water, broth (any flavor), sf Gelatin, sf popsicles, sf kool-aid, crystal light, decaf unsweetened coffee and te, diet Arizona tea, diet Snapple and Propel fitness water. Full liquids are low-fat cream Soups, tomato Soup, low-fat yogurt, skim milk, soy milk, Lactaid milk, sf fudge pops and sf low-fat pudding. I'm allowed 1300 calories a day but am not coming close to this; at least 100 grams of protein a day; less than 100 grams of carbs

  15. Today is the fourth day of my liquid diet and I can honestly say each day does get better. In reality, it would be a much better experience if I wasn't having these darn hot flashes. My surgeon took me off of my HRT medication until after surgery. For those of you who are on your liquid diet, how is it going for you?
