    July Sleevers!

All my dietician said was to start having 5-6 small meals a day rather than 3 main meals. Drink plenty of water - small sips constantly instead of large gulps when you're really thirsty. Ive cut out majority of soft drink & i was a smoker & have since quit!! All small changes that i think will help alot :-)

the waiting is the hardest part

Yes! I was excited that it was Independence day! Haha. Ive had my date since mid January. Ive had psych consult, dietician consult, blood work & chest xray. Now just the waiting game! Had to wait until my private health insurance waiting period was up (June 13th) thus the wait until surgery date! Where abouts are you?
  11. Also - ive taken just over 2 weeks off because i could. Surgery is July 4th & first day back at work will be July 21st. Have been told i wont need that long but im lucky enough to be able to have it so i figure, why not!
  12. My pre-op diet will be 2 weeks. Can have non-starchy vegetables & diet jelly to mix it up. Although a friend said the vegetables made her hungrier than if she didnt have them.. Maybe just having something in your stomach? Im sure everyones different though. 2 weeks is going to kill me!! Haha. But all will be worth it in the end :-)
