    avoid bread I thought 1 month post op I could eat any of the stuff u had listed u can learn the hard way way to soon for stuff that expands in your stomach u will regret it... had bread get stuck was not a pleasant experience and I was advised if it doesn't stay down the next 3 days I had to be on a liquid diet due to inflamed tummy ... stomach takes along time to heal u didn't do all this work for nothing that piece of bread can wait!!! I did however eat a few potato chips just cus I needed to have the crunch feeling while eating.. if u do that try the simply baked lays there amazing!! just don't eat too many!..

    During my research for surgery I was given the impression as well that it is common for relationships to end following surgery. Although I read the same thing about parents with multiples after having twins so I took it with a grain of salt. However I didn't care if it's one or many I wasn't taking a chance so I sat down with my husband and we talked about both our fears going into this.

    im 4 months and some change out myself and i am eating about 4oz a meal right now and i do have a snack between the Breakfast lunch and dinner i may not eat a whole lot but my stomach will growl when it wants something lol.... how much are you eating? and what are you eating?... for me yogurt fills me up for about 30 mins vs a few raw carrots that would satisfy me for 1-2 hrs so look for food that takes a while for you to chew and that helped me out i was eating more then i was supposed to be. this method has helped me out alot more raw veggies and fruit less of the other stuff... also i try to add 1/2 a piece of toast to at least 1 meal a day it keeps me full longer able to go longer with out a bite of something...

    so im just trying to get some insight my relationship is struggling pretty bad i am 4 months post op im down alot of weight and so much with myself has changed and continues to change and now we are fighting alot more over nothing and it just gets worse and worse. I dont need his help as much as before and i know that bothers him but how has others relationship changed since this surgery? good or bad just need some insight please...

    im against the drinks i cant keep them down if i tried... thankful for the high Protein foods i can tollerate chicken, beef, turkey and tuna

    you don't have to worry if you will fit in the seats at stadiums, or seats with sides
    you can pull your legs up kind of normally to paint your toes
    you can see your collarbone starting to form
    you can see the definition of knuckles
    you put on your winter coat you could not zip up just to see and not only can you zip it up but it will most likey be too big by then
    you no longer have to buy 26/28 tops and are excited you can float between the junior plus and women's plus depending on the top because you are an 18/20 now
    you have to twist the seat belt before latching it so it fits right instead of latching it, sitting down then pulling just he chest part in front because it doesn't fit
    your co-workers tell you you're wasting away
    and i will be so glad when i can say some of the other things people have said on here!

    I have notice I can taste chemicals in the food I eat now after the sleeve .. I use to love purified Water not it taste like pool water to me ..
    Power aid zero cal taste like chlorine .. . I love arrowhead water and before the sleeve I could not stand drinking it ..

    Jay Robb whey protein! Lactose free and sweetened with stevia. I get mine at Vitamin Shoppe. Also Isopure unflavored in broth

    If you eat what you used to, you will possibly maintain some weight loss, but you may very well not head off the co morbidities you either have or would have possibly ended up suffering from. Generally, from what I have observed "just less" of the same foods usually does not work. I think, among other things, it has to do with the fact that most poor choices are also slider foods, and you will eat more than you realize.
    I have some concern for you, it sounds to an extent that perhaps you did not listen to what was told to you ahead of time, and treated this like another radical weight loss option, when in fact you have made a change that is NOT a cure. THIS WILL NOT cure you. It is a tool - an amazing god-sent tool in my opinion, but just a tool. You have to work at it every day, work at it until the new habits are old habits, and work at it still.
    Make another appointment with a WLS specific nut, stick around here, too. Even when you can eat crap, don't. Good luck.

    ur body is going threw a major change allow it time to adjust and go back to normal.... i went threw a stall from week 3- week 6 it was horrible and i struggled the first week to try to accept that i wasnt doing anything wrong and it was hard to look past the scale not moving 15lbs is the average weight loss per month from what my surgeon told me so for you to loose 26lb in 2 weeks thats amazing!!!.... dont stress and put the scale up for a few more weeks

    Just tried one today . Pretty good and has 14g of Protein 170 calories,1g sugar 3G carbs! I will be buying more. This was a easy snack for working the night shift .

    u do what is best for you and your health!! i had one of my doctors who was aganst it too... well i had surgery in april and i still see that doctor so they wont let you go if you choose a choice for yourself

    i was sleeved april 2nd but started this whole process july of 2013 i had 6month NUT diet X_X it was all worth it and i got 1 cheat day a week before surgery so it helped.... dont make a meal like its ur last. one day you will get to eat it again...!! it will only hurt u to do that and add on more pounds!! i gained 5lb the day i had my cheat diet and was sick cus i went overboard!

    i had surgery april 2nd and feel the same some times i do snack but my cal intake is 600-800 a day... your doing a great job thats alot of weight gone!!!
