  1. Hello everyone new Dr change for me due to insurance has anyone heard of Dr. Patel or had him as their surgeon. ...Please let me know your feedback and opinions are greatly weighed thank you.
  2. Frustrated but a firm believer that things happen for a resson. After calling around and trying to figure things through this obstacle, came to the conclusion that I will go to another Dr. Which means new consultation date. ..but took a while to research the insurance I have and honestly don't want to simply get rid of it because the Dr. I initially wanted no longer works with it. Inhale exhale #notgivingup
  3. I love him that's my problem now lol don't want to switch from him because of my insurance. His requirements are really based upon your insurance requirements, but Cardiologist, pulmonary, radiology to check gall stones and hernia, psych eval., nutritionist the nutritionist there is amazing love her personality! All in all great team!
  4. Just found out though the Dr. I want Dr. Neff take Amerihealth he doesn't take amerihealth Value network total disappointment so now I must figure out what to do stay with them and switch my insurance to a higher premium from $147 to $371...or simply find another dr. Which amerihealth exactly did you have? What do you think I should do?

  7. That's a positive way to look at it I don't even know what the other stress test entails only that it's 3-4 hours long.
  8. The cardiologist is making me do another stress test after telling me that everything was fine. I honestly believe that because I didn't want to hear his opinion about a young woman like me just need to exercise blah blah smh, well cuz of that seems he added an extra stress test...did you have to do a stress test besides running on the treadmill? Maybe it's just me being paranoid. ..
  9. Once again as things be in to become realistic, again the fear of not losing due to my hypothyroidism issues is a constant fear I try hard to ignore, but it ever so suddenly rises in my mind like its 6am and here I am wide awake well I'm a work so lol, but here I am paranoid that my thyroids will hinder my progression of losing weight. I'm trying to stay positive it would truly help to here from others with hypothyroidism who had WLS...anyone out there you're input, support and advice is much needed at this time.
  10. I wanted to comment on your statement of, " not so fat" smh people tell me that all the time and say o you shouldn't do the surgery just exercise. Which pisses me off I do exercise but having hypo thyroids is so hard so hard to lose weight. I need a tool that can help me stick my toe in the door then I'll bum rush my way in lol . Here's me now just getting my appointments in order hoping for a may date...
  11. Thank you! I love how patient he is takes his time and the nutritionist Cheri Omg best personality! Thank you for sharing
  12. Does anyone have this insurance?
  13. I'm not even sure when after surgery to go shopping the good news I work a lot and can wear scrubs. Though I know a lot of me working alot is because I don't feel like nothing fits me right so I use the excuse rather work than go out...such a lie.
  14. The good news if all goes well with insurance, my dr does not have a waiting list!!!!!
  15. Band remove? I'm going for VSG, but Thank you.
  16. I'm honestly hoping that's all I go down back to my original 6.5
  17. I can't wait until my calf shrinks smh haven't worn a pair of thigh high boots in over 10 years. The stretchy types just don't look or feel the same.
  18. Took an hour but scheduled all of my dr appointments cardio, gastro., etc. All scheduled within March lol
  19. That's really interesting....hmm heard of losing never gaining
  20. Lol o crap really hope my feet don't lose to much weight. I was a 6.5 then with the weight gain a 7 and that has to be 7 wide with. I got at least 6 new pair of shoes at size 7.
