Did you have to pay any out of pocket fees, the Dr that I went to today was trying to charge me $250.00 out of pocket Thanks so much for the information I was starting to get a little stress

Question: I need a pych eval done did any of you ladies have to pay for it out of pockets, I went in today for one but the Dr told me he charges 250.00 to type up the required info however my insurance covers the visit. I am not trying to pay 250 if I don't have to please help

Will this is what I have paid & will pay $250.00 for the 1st initial consult $285.00 if you have to do the 6months which is $57.00 per visit $300.00 Optifast liquid diet $86.00 for Vitamins (after surgery) My insurance covers the rest

Welcome BeccaE1 I also had thru the hoops for 6 months, finally down 2 months to go woohoooo. I can say it went by pretty fast last appt is the 1st week in Sept so I am hoping to have a date at least in Sept or beginning Oct. keep me posted on your journey :-)

I actually have 2 more nut visit and my psychologist evaluation.............so hopefully I can get a surgery date for late Sept or 1st week Oct. Those 6 months really went by faster then I expected

I have to do the 6 months as well I must say its going by fast my 4 appt is next week: So I am praying for late Sept early Oct surgery :-)

OMG I love crab cakes my weakness "Blue Dolphin" has some really good ones and not much filling at all just lump crab

OMG just praying that this doesn't happen to me I am like you I called my insurance 1st they said I am covered Then my surgeon's office done a pre-approval they said I am covered I called my insurance back like 3 weeks ago to ask again (they stated its cover in my insurance) so after all this I would be highly upset .........I am already 3 months in to this 6 month sup diet

Yes I have to wait 6 month my last class isn't until Sept 2, 2014 so I guess after that they will submit paper work hoping to get schedule in Sept or at least the 1st week of Oct

Hi Shardy727 I think you have to actually go for a consultation 1st and the Dr will chat with you and give you instruction on what is needed / requirements for the surgery. I have BCBS as well 1st was a seminar 2nd consultation 3rd 1 Nut visit to start my 6 months 4th 2nd visit NUT Now I just have 4 more Nut visit to go

OMG..... Glad that I found this post. I was thinking maybe I was the only one being charge these fees. I wish they had told me about them during the seminars :-) $250.00 Wellness Consult - To be honest I get more informative info here then I did at that class $300.00 Opti-fast liquid diet (I was told you have to purchase it from them) $285.00 for the 6 month classes Then before surgery I was told by my insurance that I will have a $500.00 deductible My advice to myself is save ....save.......save......

So far I've completed - seminar - consultation - Blood work / EKG - sleep study - 1st NUT visit - next week is my 2nd NUT , so I am trying to get it out the way I have been even trying different shakes, started on my vitamins, biotin etc..... even learning to sip water and not gulp

Hi Meg Your PCP should be able to do the H Pylori test for you wonder why he/she is refusing to do so hope everything works out and keep us posted also did you have to do the 6 month wait?
