  1. I have never posted before, but I am so frustrated and not sure what to do. I was originally banded back in February 2007 and everything was going well. By August 2007 I was down 45 lbs and feeling great. To my surprise, I found out I was pregnant. I was elated since we had been trying for over 4 years with no avail. My doctor thought it be wise to remove all the Fluid out of the band while pregnant. The pregnancy went well and I had a healthy baby girl in May 2008. Since I was breastfeeding he did not want to put fluid back in until I was finished, which was in October 2008. I had several fills and nothing seemed to work. We found that my band had slipped and I needed to be re-banded, which happened in February 2010. Since then I have had several fills and no matter what, I never feel any restriction. My doctors noticed that the band is not sitting properly, but felt it was ok to continue. He stated that since I lost weight that there wasn't enough fat to hold it in place like originally. I can eat and eat and eat. I have to stop myself. What can I do to help jumpstart my weight loss again. I am so frustrated since originally I was doing so well prior to the birth of my daughter. I have had some testing done and I do have a thyroid problem (on synthroid to control), and just found out that I am lacking Vitamin D and B-12. I have begun weekly B-12 shots and increased my Vitamin D intake, but still feel so tired. Should I just reserve to the fact that I will never be able to lose the weight that I originally wanted to?
