I didn't even make it out of phase 1 yet, lol I tried cream of chicken soup today(with protein added) and it went down so nicely. BUT I had the feeling that it was stuck thereafter and everything else I attempted to eat or drink also felt that they are stuck. So I am worried that no protein will slow loss and healing, but I have to make sure that I am well enough to advance to all phases. Best wishes to you as well

Dont worry about your protein intake right off. There was no way I could of taken in 70 - 80 grams of protein the first 6 weeks. My nut warned me about this also. By 6 weeks is when my protein intake increased to about 40 grams..then a couple of weeks later I was where I should be. ..70 to 75.

I was released yesterday morning and things have been moving forward. I declare and decree that things will remain good. trying to get as much fluid in as possible(though I am not yet close to the required 64oz) I think that I am keeping hydrated with decaf tea, popsicles, broth jello and crystal light
