  1. Yes, I felt the same way!! I thought there was something wrong with my band...but now 2 fills in...boy do I have restrictions! Enjoy it while you can...things will change real fast once the fills begin!

    WOW! All good to know!! The first few weeks I did feel very restricted (now I know it was because I was swollen...lol) Looking forward to my next few fills...they can't come soon enough!!

  4. How much are you eating before you feel full or content?? I got my 1st fill about 2 weeks ago, so I am @ 2.5 cc but I don't notice that big of a difference. I am not just eating a few "bites" and feeling full...as a matter of fact most of the time I don't feel much at all? Is this normal because I am still at the early stages of fills? I thought I was going to eat a few bites and have to stop, but I can eat a few bites and keep going...I have been stopping myself from eating more...not my band Any advice or thoughts...my next fill is not for 2 more weeks...

  7. hey everyone...I need help understanding the whole protein part of being banded. I was told I needed to have about 70 grams a day and I am no where near that figure. I've looked at protein bars and shakes and they seem to be for body builders, so I really need help with this. Why do we need so many grams? how many grams are you taking in? How are you doing it...are you using shakes/ bars- what brands would you recommend? Any high protein foods you'd recommend? Are we always going to have to consume so much protein??Thanks for any info on this!
