  1. 299! I'm officially out of the 300s, and to think I used to be 406!
  2. I drink monster sugar fee energy drinks and eat frozen grapes to help me go.
  3. Anyone losing their hair yet? Mine is falling out like crazy! :'( I have my 12 week appointment tomorrow, really excited to discuss some things with my NUT and surgeon. I always feel so reassured after leaving from an appointment.
  4. I have lost 101 pounds! That's 46 pounds since surgery, and I'm only 6 pounds away from 299. I can't wait to be under 300 pounds, I can't remember the last time I was in the 200s!
  5. Hello everyone. I did pretty good over Easter. I had one bite of my favorite candy ever and it totally got rid of my craving for it. So my sons huge Easter basket did not bother me at all. The one thing that is really getting to me is soda. I'm on vacation and there's been many cases where I was like dying of their and the only thing on hand was soda, not even water, and the first couple times I had a sip it would foam up and hurt going down, now it goes down fine and that really scares me. My NUT said carbonation can stretch out my pouch the same as over eating. Granted I have not drank cups full just sips here and there. I am eating about 1 cup of food at the max. Somedays I barely want to eat and others I seem like bottomless pit but never really go over 1 cup. Okay we'll other than that I am losing 5 lbs a week with little exercise due to being still on vacation but I'm staying as active as I can.
  6. As for all of you that are on a stall, I am to. I've been stuck for so long, then I randomly lost like 4 lbs (probably from all the walking at Disney) and I just weighed myself and I gained almost all of it back. The heck?! How is that even possible. Ugh!! I wish I didn't have a scale down here on vacation cause its so frustrating. In better news, I'm going to Busch Gardens this Thursday, hopefully I can fit on all the rides!
  7. So since I'm in Florida I went to Disney with my best friend and I fit on everything. Got some really good food that didn't bother me to eat AND I fit on every single ride there was with extra room. I was so excited, then this morning I woke up and weighted myself and I was 5 lbs down! I have a fitbit which tracks your steps and I ended up taking over 26,000 steps. I had so much fun and I'm glad I was able to keep up with everyone with no problem and didn't have to worry about not fitting on the rides.
  8. I've been at a semi stall for the last 2 weeks now. I figured once I got the okay to workout out the pounds would fly off. I've been kicking butt with my workouts but I have only lost like 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks. Very frustrating. On the upside, I'm visiting Florida in 3 days. Yay!
  9. I'm never drinking coffee again. I drank about 1/2 cup of coffee this morning and I dumped it and still feel miserable. Also it has made me do nothing but use the bathroom. Maybe I'll drink less if I ever get constipated but other than that NEVER again. Thought I would share. Hope everyone is doing good. Not much going on in this thread anymore.
  10. I'm doing really well! I had my 6 week check up on Monday and everyone was extremely pleased with my progress. When I get down to my goal weight they might use me as a poster child, which they would show patients my before and after picture and I would speak to people just starting their journey. Sounds like an amazing experience to me. Eating and exercise I have done very well and I am starting to really feel like a normal human again, slowly though! I've had a ton of NSVs, which is the best feeling in the world!! Also, I'm visiting Florida in less than 2 weeks and I get to see my best friend for the first time in 2 years, he's going to be shocked when he sees me! How's everyone else doing? Not many posts on here lately. Hope everyone is doing awesome. Highest weight; 406 lbs Surgery date; 355 lbs 6 weeks out; 322 lbs.
  11. So I'm from Ohio and am going to Florida in 2 weeks and my best friend is already talking about taking me to amusement parks. Probably either Disney or busch gardens. My question is, anyone know how big is to big for roller coaster rides. The last time I was on a ride at busch gardens was almost 10 years ago and I had no problem fitting but I don't exactly remember my size. I am as of right now 5'9 and 325 lbs. I will probably be 310-315 when I go. Anything helps! I just don't want to waste the money or have to do the walk of shame because I can't fit.
  12. I'm officially 80 lbs down! That a loss of 30 lbs since surgery. Heck yeah! On a different note, can I acknowledge how much I hate dumping. I always vomit and then get the shakes and sweats and feel like crap. Why can't I just throw up and get it over with. Lol if only!
  13. Things just take time. I'm almost 6 weeks out and eating is like a chore now. I get hungry, I eat, and I'm done. But in in the beginning I felt like I was going to starve to death. I cried so much because I wanted to eat something so bad. Once you get into soft foods you will definitely feel the satisfaction of chewing and being full from a little amount of food. Don't worry about it to much, I thought the same thing but I'm doing good now!
  14. Yes I get very bad chest and abdominal pains if it drink to much or to fast. I seem to be taking way bigger sips than I did right after surgery but my body definitely tells me when I'm doing something wrong. I know what you mean I wish I could just chug a whole glass of something. I hate taking little sips especially when I'm super thirsty!
