Hi, My name is Susan, I am 45 will be 46 on march 1st. I have 3 children , two of which are grown and married who have children of their own. My youngest is 10 and my oldest is 24. I have 3 grandchildren that range in age of 3 months to 2 years old. I have been married to my best friend for 25 years and he supports me in my decision with this journey I have chosen. I am Assistant Director of Nursing at a Nursing home/Rehab here in TN. I just had my first consult with the Surgeon on 01/17/2014 and I am still undecided in the type of surgery I want. I have narrowed it down to the lap band and the gastric sleeve. I am very nervous in my decision but also excited in a new found lease in life.
