I know that when I was researching this surgery and this sight, I wanted to get an idea of the type of weight loss I could expect. I learned that EVERYONE is different and that EVERYONE loses at a diffrent rate--some faster, some slower. However, I wanted to share this with those who want to have some idea of the type of weight loss that can occur with the sleeve.
I was sleeved on a Tuesday, so I weighed myseslf every Tuesday; those are reflected in the weekly weigh-in's. I was sleeved on the 18th, so the monthly weigh-in's reflect my weight on the 18th of each month.

I've always had an extremely high drive. With exceptions of brief periods of depression I've always been ready and open sexually. BUT since being sleeved, I have been a total nympho and there is no shortage of hot young studs to oblige. Which was a huge ego boost after being married to a lying, cheating addict that showed no interest in me. I did notice I had to get a grip and slow down a bit because all the attention was becoming an addictive rush. But I guess I'm making up for lost times. Lol

Just speaking from a mans point of view I'm not looking at the hanging skin when its time to get it in, I like to be the only hanging ya feel me, (: Me and my wife both had the sleeve so its just something we don't care about. I would prefer to be others that were sleeved just so I know they know what I'm going through. Don't sweat the skin.... Not everyone can afford an extreme make over.

Back on January 9th, a group of Pekin , Illinois bikers were riding west on I-74
when they saw a girl about to jump off the Murray Baker Bridge .
    So they stopped.
George, their leader, a big burly man of 53, gets off his Harley, walks
through a group of gawkers, past the State Trooper who was
trying to talk her down off the railing, and says,
"Hey Baby.....whatcha doin' up there on that railin'?"
She says tearfully, "I'm going to commit suicide!!"
While he didn't want to appear "sensitive," George also didn't want
to miss this "be-a-legend" opportunity either so he asked …
"Well, before you jump, Honey-Babe...why don't you give ole George here your best last kiss?"
So, with no hesitation at all, she leaned back over the railing
and did just that … and it was a long, deep, lingering kiss
followed immediately by another even better one.
After they breathlessly finished, George gets a big thumbs-up approval
from his biker-buddies, the onlookers and even the
    State Trooper and then says,
"Wow! That was the best kiss I have ever had, Honey!
That's a real talent you're wasting, Sugar Shorts. You could be
famous if you rode with me. Why the hell are you committing suicide?"
"My parents don't like me dressing up like a girl."
It's still unclear whether she jumped or was pushed.

At my initial surgery consult I was wearing a 34/36 (yes that is a real size) or 6X - maybe a 5X on a "good" day. I'm now in a size 16 bottom and an XL top. Got a ways to go but so far, so good!

Consignment and goodwill for new and old. I also donate to safe houses. Many women leave with only the clothes on their back, so it's a great option.

I kept my smaller clothes from when I lost before and as I regained. I hope to just wear the old stuff for awhile because it is way too expensive to replace dress clothes every month and tailoring only looks good one time.

For clothes you are getting rid of, keep Women's Shelters in mind. They go to the centers with the clothes on their backs and would appreciate the donations.

I've bought a few things at thrift stores have bought a few new shirts along the way when I couldn't find anything elsewhere. Goodwill has been a great resource so far.

I'm using it. I wouldn't mind friends on it either although I'm slightly technically impaired. You'd have to explain how to me how to add someone. And perhaps how to make the diary open.
I'll take a look and see if I can figure out out as well.

    is anyone using this app??
I've been using it daily and I would like to connect with more friends (especially those with "open diaries") so that I can get a better idea of what everyone else is eating... I keep my diary open as well.
I had my surgery 12/30/13 and i'm re-learning to eat all over again....still sounds funny to me.
    thank you,

No doubt in my mind that the band you are wearing around your middle is making you uncomfortable...Your incisions need air to help heal them and your body is still swollen from the surgery.....
I was told by my team not to wear those until I started to have extra skin...It would cause problems in the long run if i wore them too soon....Everything is a process......
    Hope this helps!
