Thank you madam. I'm on the app and I've been trying to search for those topics but I can't find anything. Is there anyway you can post the link to the forum you started on that?

Hello All,
I am 12 days post op and for the past week I've been getting this sensation in the back of my throat, it feels like a lump inside there. In the morning when I wake up, it's not there, but as the day goes by, I notice it more and more.
I don't have a problem drinking or getting my Protein in. I called my dr and said that it could be swollen or acid reflux.
Anyone have this?

I would not recommend the ones that I bought from Celebrate. They are really chalky and just don't taste good

I am 7 days post op

Hello All,
Everything has been going fine, been able to get in all my fluids, all my Protein. Today I went to take the Celebrate chewable Vitamin C and I threw it up. Sooo scared, I called my doctor and said that it's nothing to worry about, that particular Vitamin C is to acidic and didn't agree with your stomach, so I will stop taking it.
Has anyone else experienced this?

What happened zoumommy? Hope you're feeling better.

You could take a shower, but you can't take a bath. You can't let your wounds soak for a long period of time

Oh and I'm on lovenox

I've been walking a lot more. The soreness is mainly on the right, but I could also feel it on the left

Hello All,
For the past couple of days, I've noticed that when I walk, my calves are sore. I have no swelling and it's not warm to the touch.
Just want to know if anyone has ever experienced this

Hello All, I had my surgery Monday evening, I was discharged yesterday. I have only been able to take in about 24oz of liquid. That includes 37 grams of Protein via Protein Shakes. Is this normal? I find it hard to get all these liquids in

I also am experiencing a lot of gas. I don't know if you have the same thing, but I also get like a pain in the middle of my chest for a quick second and then it goes away. It hurts
-
I also get the pressure in the middle of my chest... That sucks.
-
Did everyone have their surgery done robotically, via davinci?
-
I'm still in the hospital. They check my white blood cell count is normal and my temperature is back down to 98.7. They said that I wasn't using my spirometer that often

Hello all,
Just want to check in. Had my surgery on Monday. I've been experiencing a low grade fever at 100.2... Really don't feel sick or anything. Just wanting to know if anyone experienced this after surgery and if it got normal
-
Right now running a low grade fever at 100.2 and blood pressure is a little high. Nurse says to keep doing breathing exercises. Anyone here experience this after surgery?
-
I was never hypertensive before. Nurses say it's a compilation of meds that are given and pain from the surgery

Hello all,
Just an update. I had my surgery yesterday around 6pm. So far so good.... The only pain I have is from has and have been trying to walk as much as possible to get that out, besides that just a little sore and uncomfortable.
I just passed the leak test, that was nasty! Hoping that everyday gets better.
Good luck on your journeys

I am having my surgery today at 2pm and have to be at the hospital at 12noon. I have a bundle of emotions. Nervous, anxious, scared, excited. Asking myself did I really try hard enough to lose this weight.
I am having the surgery because I have sleep apnea and also weight control issues. I have tried every diet out there, and become successful, but no matter what I always gain the weight back.
Hope everyone has a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
Did anyone ever second guess this surgery the days leading up to the surgery?

Hello all, I have my surgery tomorrow at 2pm. I am scheduled to be there at 12 noon. My emotions are all over the place. I never had surgery before, so I'm anxious, excited, scared, nervous. Etc... I've been overweight my entire life and have done yo-yo dieting.
I started out my journey in July of 2013 weighing in at 325. Through diet and exercise I am now at 265 with the pre-liquid diet... Dont know if it's normal to go back and forth on this decision for the past 3-4 days, asking my self I only need to lose 65-70 pounds.
My medical problems are sleep apnea, that is my major reason for having this surgery. Also I suffer from panic attacks & anxiety. Is it normal to second guess my decision in going into surgery?
Thank you, Jorge
