  1. Hello All,

I am 12 days post op and for the past week I've been getting this sensation in the back of my throat, it feels like a lump inside there. In the morning when I wake up, it's not there, but as the day goes by, I notice it more and more.

I don't have a problem drinking or getting my Protein in. I called my dr and said that it could be swollen or acid reflux.

    Anyone have this?

  2. I am having my surgery today at 2pm and have to be at the hospital at 12noon. I have a bundle of emotions. Nervous, anxious, scared, excited. Asking myself did I really try hard enough to lose this weight.

I am having the surgery because I have sleep apnea and also weight control issues. I have tried every diet out there, and become successful, but no matter what I always gain the weight back.

Hope everyone has a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

Did anyone ever second guess this surgery the days leading up to the surgery?

  3. Hello all, I have my surgery tomorrow at 2pm. I am scheduled to be there at 12 noon. My emotions are all over the place. I never had surgery before, so I'm anxious, excited, scared, nervous. Etc... I've been overweight my entire life and have done yo-yo dieting.

I started out my journey in July of 2013 weighing in at 325. Through diet and exercise I am now at 265 with the pre-liquid diet... Dont know if it's normal to go back and forth on this decision for the past 3-4 days, asking my self I only need to lose 65-70 pounds.

My medical problems are sleep apnea, that is my major reason for having this surgery. Also I suffer from panic attacks & anxiety. Is it normal to second guess my decision in going into surgery?

    Thank you, Jorge
