I know that when I was on Prozac, I gained 15 pounds in 1 month...so your antidepressant could be to blame. Also, are you taking in alot of liquid calories??

I am so happy to hear that you are cancer free. My mom was diagnosed last summer...did a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. We found out last week that the cancer has returned and she now has a 5 inch mass. I have only been banded since 12/12 so I don't really know how to help. If you do end up having to pay for the band again, I had my surgery with Dr. Kirshenbaum in Denver for $9975. This included everything...3 months of fills and then after that fills are only $15. My aunt did the same thing here...I have been listening to Jason Mraz lately...must say that I dig him too!!! My knee is severely crunchy still. It grosses me out. But I am not really sure what can be done about it. I had some great supplements that stopped the crunching but I can't crush it, so I stopped taking it. That is the downfall of the band...I wish I could get my old wad of vitamins down and my other stuff. I just don't feel very good taking a childrens vitamin. Vent here anytime girly!!

Munchkin~ I have serious issues with my knee. I am 33 and my options are cartilage transplant or total knee replacement. This is why I did the band. Although, not 100% better...I would say that it has bought me another 10-20 years. If I were you, I would wait and see. If the pain is tolerable, you may be suprised to feel better after another 20 pounds. So, how much did you have put in today? What is your total amount in?

Renee...you rock lady!!! Denise...hey fellow MILF (BTW, my sons are SO grossed out at this!)...how tall are you? I am 5'6" and am aiming for 128. Tom told me the same thing. That still makes me have to lose 28 pounds. Has anyone else considered joining WW? I am tossing it around, that way I am accountable every week to someone in person... Let me know. Where is DEE?!?!

Jilly... I drink the "New whey liquid Protein shot from GNC...42g protein, 0 sugar, 0 fat, 2g carbs" I drink it with a bottle of Crystal light. I get fruit punch in everything so you can't even taste the protein. All of this for a whopping 181 calories.

AH the days of bandster hell...I have a 10cc band...I have had numerous fill, and am up to 6.1. I am hoping this will be it for a while. I have not lost a thing in 7 weeks, so hopefully this will get me back to losing. It has been frusturating!! You sound like your off to a great start, just remember until you have restriction, your mostly working your will power!

I have had several fill. 3cc was my first one. I did have to have a slight unfill (I had a kidney stone and because of the vomiting everything swelled and I could no longer eat). I am up to 6.1 in a 10cc band and am hoping this will be good for a while. I was banded 12/12, have lost 70 pounds and only have 25 maybe 30 more to go!
