  1. Dawn, Dr. Weiner is one of the other Dr's I've heard great things about. Good luck! Kathy
  2. Hi "e", I had the small band, I think he said he put in 3cc, maybe 4. Dr. Laker did it, Kyle is no longer working there. Kathy
  3. Hi, I went to DMC in July, had Dr. Laker as my surgeon. I HIGHLY recommend everything about them except the place they have you stay at. Find your own hotel, or try to negotiate staying someplace else. The surgeons, hospital staff, and everyone associated with them is EXCELLENT!!!!! I can't say enough about all of them. They all treated me like I was the only patient in their care. Dr. Laker is so wonderful too, I've heard great things about the other surgeons, but only met him. I had an adjustment about 10 days ago, flew back to Detroit from Boston because I think so highly of them there!! Feel free to email me with any questions. By the way, my BMI was 33.5 before surgery. -kathy
  4. Hi, I just joined but wanted to tell you that you have the BEST surgeons and medical staff right in Detroit. I had Dr. Laker at Harper Hospital in Detroit. The most wonderful man and surgeon. He is associated with Michigan Obesity Surgery Specialists. Michigan Obesity Surgery Specialists - Scott Laker, MD, a LAP-BAND® and Gastric Bypass Surgeon I love him so much I flew in from Boston again for my first fill just to see him. Check them out - everyone associated with them is WONDERFUL!
