My journey began after the birth of my last child. I tipped the scales at 265 and no matter what I did could not lose the weight. This was such an imbarassment to me because I had always been known as the skinny one thoughout both high school and college. I played sports and won beauty pageants. So know being this heavy, I didn't know who this person looking back at me from the mirrow was. Here I was married with five beautiful children and should have been enjoying life but instead I was hiding from it. I met with my doctor and within a month was scheduled for surgery. It was like a new beginning for me. I did everything he told me and within six months I had lost 80 pounds!!! I plataued at 190/ size 14 which was great. I kept the weight off for three years. Then a year ago, due to great turmoil and stress, I began eating horribly which lead to a complete unfill. Within six months I ballooned back to 245. However, it wasn't as bad as it could have been and I wasnt back to my presurgery weight. So with the encouragment of my Dr, husband and family, I got refilled. Starting 2014 with 6ccs in a 10cc band and ready to lose it again. I have proven to myself that it can be done because I did it before so the only thing holding me back now is me!!! Here's to great 2014!!!
