  1. Hello, My name is Lisa, I am currently being seen at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA to have lapband surgery done. At this time I am going through pre-surgical testing. We have a group of about 20 women that are all being reviewed at the same time. We all have our own concerns on why we are hear to have this surgery. I have mixed feelings on what I want, Lapband vs Gastric by pass. I have 100lbs to lose and I am a cheat and a lyer to myself on any diet I have ever attempted to be on. As I get older it gets worse, that strange women in the mirrior staring back at me I don't know who she is and why she keeps following me. She is exspecailly annoying when I go clothes shopping. Every time I put on an outfit she is trying on the same item. I am looking forward to talking to all my new found friends that will or have been through what I am about to do. I am looking forword to words of incourgagement and wisdom form all those who have already been through the surgery. I am currently on an emotional rollercoster with life in general. My saving grace was always treating my self to a nice dinner or place to go. I am trying to deal with the new susbstuitions to replace these feelings.:help: For some reason I can't get spell check to work on my computer so please excuse any mispelled words. That happens to be another great gift I aquired over my life time. I am looking forward to reak the rewards of this websit and move thourgh this period of change. It is really nice to know we all have each other to support this new challange in our life. I look forward to hearing from you.:clap2: Lisa
