    band to sleeve

Good news for you both! Agree that liquids are very important to prevent dehydration. Because of the swelling and a total change to my stomach it was hard to get my Water in. I'm almost 4 weeks post-op and water is no longer an issue. After my band had been in place for a while I did push my limits. With this sleeve (and time) I'm determined to treat it as I should. I wish you well = )

    band to sleeve

hopeful 2 bw slim, I had my band put in in December 2009. The first year was great. Over the last two years it worked off and on. I was very fortunate not to have slippage or erosion, but on December 18, 2013 I had it removed and was sleeved. I haven't been disappointed. It feels so much more "natural" to not have the band inside. I believe it is much easier to live with. I had done research and talked with professionals. I will say that it is a big decision and somewhat overwhelming to think about. I hope that you will be able to make a decision that will work for you.
  3. Glad you are able to be seen today. Please do let us know what they have to say.
  4. If I was faced with the same symptoms I would be calling my surgeon's office as soon as they opened next (day). I wouldn't want to wait it out or see how I feel the next day. It's always better to be over cautious than not cautious enough. Best wishes to you.

    Apps?

I've been using My Fitness Pal and really like it. It is very easy to use.
  7. Hello Everyone! I posted two days ago that I'm a newbie here and trying to figure the site out. My surgery was Dec. 18th - just two weeks ago. (As an aside our first grandchild - grand daughter was born on Dec. 13th = ). My motivation is increased to be heathy for a long long time and to be able to chase after her. I found a website from a blogger who had surgery and has blogged about it. She also has lots of recipes to check out, plus more. Give it a try and see what you think. Theworldaccordingtoeggface.com Happy New Year to all!
  8. I've just learned about my bar bariatric pal and have to learn navigation and "how to's" on here but I had band to sleeve conversion on 12/18/13 and want to be a part of this thread.
